What a lazy review for one of the best albums from India
by ABC ABC on Apr 16, 2009 08:55 PM

Seriously. Dev D music is the best original music to come from India in a long time. Amit Trivedi kicks Rahman's butt.

CRAP TO THE CORE
by Yugesh Narayan P on Mar 16, 2009 08:38 PM

DevD is just CRAP. Anurag Kashyap should be hanged by the women of India for portraying them in such bad light. He seems to be taking them for granted. Just look at the way the women in DevD just walk into bed just like that. This guy deserves nothing but his 'thing' to be cut. Also the movie is just sick & people watching this get sick. Hope there would be a law where such crap makers are thrown into jail.

DevD's soundtracks is a revolution
by promit mukherjee on Jan 17, 2009 12:36 PM

I guess the music dorector, the singer and the crew was highly doped when they created sucha piece.. No one in his full senses can actually compose DevD quality. It takes you to a different tangent... gives a kick.

Dev Did it

Anurag Kashyap has virtually let Amit trivedi loose in this Album and boy has he come up with goods or what. There is a combination of wide range of songs that include Punjabi, Rajasthani, Hindi classical, western songs, rock numbers and emotional romantic numbers. Every song is unique from the other and Emosanal Attyachaar is going to become a rage, which is undoubtedly the song of the season.EA is perhaps one of the most original indian rock song composed in years while its rock version just blows your socks off –– the perfect antidote for a broken heart.just sit back and enjoy the brilliance all the way there is something unique in the song it catchs you offguard. Then there’s the heady Duniya, the toxic Nayan barse and the Rajasthani-rock Pardesi.. add to all this the dreamy Dhol yaara dhol, and you get one helluva album. Way to rock!

With 18 tracks on the menu, Anurag Kashyap can’t get any closer to a full fledged masala movie, perfect for the god-fearing Indian. Let’s we see something grand in Dev D.
