The Constant Gardener, Disappointing?? What kinda movie buffs is rediff hiring to review these days? A cynical lad I may be, Elvis would need to revisit whats disappointing and whats not.

Even I thought "Constant Gardener" was quite disappointing after "City of God". He got fine performances from the cast and shot it beautifully, but somehow it turned out to be a middling film.
As Le Carre would have said "Compared to reality the film is tamer than a holiday postcard".
I thought Blindness is not really filmable, like McCarthy's The Road - have not watched either yet. Curious to see what has been done.
