This was absolutely shame to all Indians in the World especially Indians in this country, What the heck you thinking when you planing to do this. The World has seen stunning performances from Indians, this is a very bad reputation to Indian music industery.I have question for those who bring Indian team, do you realize where you going and what to do when you get there ?,even some of the coach's woundering what is this anciant old school program in 21'st century. My humble request is learn something from this and don't take any goffy stuff to the world.
Amrapali Ambegaokar - wow she was just amazing and so graceful.
Sangita Sandhyal and Nishi Munshi - very pretty, horrible dancing. They should continue to compete in beauty pageants but dancing is not their thing. Their dancing is mediocre just good enough to dance at a friend’s wedding or so but a dance competition and that to at an international level? who put them there? Oh! Let me guess Nakul Dev Mahajan? I will get to him in a sec but who made the uneducated brut the expert? One of them (Sangita Sandhyal) was in the Bhangra number too and if there is a reason why the group dance was considered out of sync it was because of her. Her expressions are just too weird the same in the duo and the same in the bangra.
Now for the so called dance coach Nakul Dev Mahajan, what a crook. He could care less about India winning he was so into himself. That guy had no business being there and what does he know about khatak and bhartnatyam? He was praising Amrapali Ambegaokar and Mythili Prakash like he was their guru. He's probably seeing these age old ancient dances for the first time himself. Furthermore he had no reason to flare out at the judge’s scores other than to get some tv time.
I hope India realld does win, but for that to happen the pretty faces (Sangita and Nishi) and that annoying ‘dance coach’ need to go!
Once again bravo to the Amrapali Ambegaokar (such grace), Mythili Prakash (beautiful), Bhangra group (had fun watching them). These gu
if it was actual Indians representing India. I agree the Bharat Natyam Dancer and the Kathakali Dancer were great, but what was that Duet and Group dance about? It was insulting and embarassing. They had no elegance that we naturally find in indian dances. There was nothing Indian about them. These are bunch of kids born and brought up in the U.S, who I doubt even know an Indian language. And they got to represent India? What a shame!

Kathak is not the same as KathaKALI. PLEASE NOTE!!!! otherwise, I agree with your answer. Kathakali is from Kerala, and is a dance drama form. It has very little in common with Kathak, stylistically, that is, which is a Moghul influenced court style of dance (tho of course it also has its roots in the Bharata Natya Shastra and has a great deal of Hindu influence and content as well.)
They can win, lose, go to hell.... really we dont even care.... as it is we are overwhelmed with reality shows in our country.... every channel has two or three of them.....
