There were atleast 2 very good movies in Tamil released recently 1) Vennila kabadi Kuzhu and 2) Nan kadavul.. All you have to do is watch Victory before watching Vennila and you would apperciate it even more. When Victory trivalizes India's most glamorous sports Vennila elevates India's most unglamorous sport. Vennila is such a treat for its rural details. Nan kadavul deals with one of the obscure corner of the society. Then there is this new release SMS which is a good entertainer. All the three movies are not rip-offs.. they are movies with original screenplay. It is only top heros like Ajit, Vijay, Simbu and Danush who seem to be doing real crap and pulling down the entire Tamil movie industry. It is the lack of confidence of these so called top heros who are the bane of not only tamil but all regional industries like Telugu etc

Tamil version "Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu" is the original story of Kannada movie "Kabbadi" by Nagendraprasad, happening to be released in the month of April in kannada. But this movie is already relased in Tamil B cos of the actor Kishore, who betrayed the director Nagendraprasad by investing around 25 lakhs for this movie in Tamil version.Recently Kishore has apologised Nagendraprasad for his involvement. The conclusion is some artists like to play dirty games, will make the audience fool, irrespective of any film industries.
Day by day Tamil films are doing bad. Last year it was 2 and 1/2 stars and now the reviews are coming with single star and no star in other movie SMS.I hope Kollywood don't' dub the crap movies to TOllywood.

Dont just throw the whole industry is bad, there are many good movies released like "Vaaranam Aayiram","Abhium Naanum", "Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu" and "Naan Kadavul" and yet to be released "Nandhalala" & "Aayirathil oruvan". Good and bad are always part of the business, thats called commercialism!
