the way she's been behaving during the past weeks looks like she'll very soon say goodbye to India and settle in the US. she has already said she wants to live in New York. her role in Slumdog was minuscule. anyways good luck to her

And for suggesting that Freida Pinto's barely noticed in the West! Do you even ever watch American TV?! How could you be so totally ignorant of the countless interviews she has given to the US media : the Today Show MULTIPE time, JAY LENO!!!, Ellen Degeneres... boy, you are sure pathetic. In terms of the contrast between the two actresses, Kate Winslet and Freida Pinto, I would say there sure is one and thank God! Freida is slender and elegant while Kate, though I'm sure a lovely person, is a bit on the round side. Freida's bone structure is flawless, while Kate's is clearly not. Freida has a gorgeous, perfectly tanned complexion, while Kate is pasty white. However, judging by your remarks, I'm thinking that you're the sort of Indian who'd prefer pasty white, fat Punjabi girls with thick, ugly bloated features, to pretty, slender, elegant, golden-complexioned girls from the South, am I right ?!
