What a film by anurag! Spendidly workd by Abhay specially and other cast. Music is awe inspiring by Amit Trivedi never before in some last years in Bollywood. Must Watch.

Great movie

I watched this movie yesterday & was pleasantly shocked to see such a good movie being made in bollywood. Abhay is as good as daniel day lewis in "There will be blood" and anurag kashyap matches "Martin Scorsese". This movie is 10 yr ahead of it's times. Absolutely great movie. Especially watch for Emosanal Atyachar.

I agree satya.. i saw it last evening... story we already know "DEVDAS" but very nicely narrated.
One can feel the thoughts of the main charater, a scene where he is drunk and submerges his head in water and his eye balls rolling..

we know the guy has flaws and has got into drug and alcohol abuse, but still cant hate him..

Good job Abhay & Anurag

BALWINDER TIWANA
one word masterpiece
by BALWINDER TIWANA on Feb 10, 2009 10:37 AM

People, bow down to the Abhay deol and anurag Kashyap. this will the film which will go down in the history as the film which changed indian cinema as never before.thank god we are blessed to see this kind of cinema rathar than crap of Rab na bana di jodi or om santi om. Man, Abhay is the real deal, a actor with guts, vision, and above all the connectivity with real people. not the crap of Shahrukh Khan(a hakla). After seeing DEV D i always wonder who is giving award to the hakla even he is not a good actor.with him ofcourse there is Kshyap who has made the film a Masterpiece,if i would say the greatest film ever made in indian cinema after Do Bigha Zameen.watch it poeple and admire. you all are educated people, appricate these kind of films rather than this run of mill films.and not to forget the music of the film, in fornt of even Rehman's music would be like a child.go abhay you are a real deal, and a big slap on SK,Salman Khan.and for kshyap you have made Chopra's, Johar's,david dawan not more than a bunch of jokers.
