Then you need not air your views in public, when it matters for crores, it is a news that needs to be aired. Dr.Vishnu was a public figure, your views and thoughts shows you have left no room in your dear ones heart, you need lot of love from your near ones then you will be alright. By the by if you not interested in this topic please dont visit it. Rightly said Naveen. Mr.Rajesh if Dr. Vishnu is not a public figure then what is your definition for public figure. As you said you have every right to air your views in the forum but the views should be sensible and not hurt others sentiments. Anyway no one is compelling you to read this post. When you don't know about Dr. Vishnu then why do you read and post your views here. By the by, I am not from karnataka but know how to respect fellow brothers sentiments.

difference is there......however crazy a fan in North, he/she does not commit suicide when his favourite actor passes away.....
In South, perhaps except kerala, people can do everything for the star they like....
Kannadigas and Tamils should stop idol-worshiping the so-called film personalities because that is harmful not only for them but also for the future generation. In Chennai, a film shooting took place yesterday in Stanley Hospital right from midnight until morning,that too in the Emergency Ward. The filmi rascals don't have any concern whatsoever for the patients. Also, the film-obsessed state CM and all other concerned should be sacked for allowing that and many such things to happen.
I have admired Vishnu's acting and believe he will be know as one of the initial trendsetter of Kannada cinema. My condolences to his family.
However w.r.t these destruction of property whenever a public personality dies, especially filmstars I have an opinion.
I think currently living filmstars, especially those who are old, should record a statement requesting their fans not to take undue steps, especially suicides, destroying properties or acting like hooligans at their demise. These living actors have seen the ruckus. They are used to cameras. They would have thought about death definitely since they would have insurances, wills etc etc. So whats wrong in doing one small public service, however crazy it looks. All the family has to do is ask media to play it repeatedly to calm down fans.
A little awkwardness for the actor goes a long way in saving crores of rupees and sometimes livelihood of people.
I hope some actor takes this step, atleast until our people become matured (which I dont see happening in the next 50 years atleast)
It's very sad to see many people abusing Kannada, Karnataka and Kannada People. Some people are doing just for the sake of it. One should respect other language and culture. Dr Vishnu Sir was a humble human, great actor. He has contributed to self respect of Kannadigas, He has contributed to Flood Victims of Karnataka and Andra, He has built temples, He has adopted children, He has helped many needy people. He has sponsored education of many vilage students in his home district. He deserves a State respect. It does not mater if people from other state like kannada / kannada films / kannada people. But I request my other indian people not to abuse each other. Sad day for kannada and kannada people. Jai Karnataka , Jai Hindustan !!!
