Dr.Vishnu was next to Dr.Raj in his popularity. He was No.2 actor of Kannada filmland. Today I felt very bad after hearing his death news. I request god to give rebirth to Vishnu in Karnataka only. Vishnu Anna you are great-May god rest your soul in peace. Goodbye Vishnuji !!
When I was adoloscent,I used to ridicule for calling him "SahasaSimha" for his onscreen action. Least could I understand how he captured the imagination of millions of his fans which no others would be able to do. But today I feel that the Lion is silenced and forever. The Yejamana,Rayaru,Aaptamitra,Nagarahaavu and ofcourse Sahasasimha of Kannada film is no more. He was a born star meaning he came to the scene with a bang. Never struggled. Saw stardom as early at 22years. Whenever everyone thought he is done, he came with a bigger success than before. First time I remember was his "Rayaru Bandaru Mavana Manege", then after a breif slump was his "Suryavamsha", then again he came back as "Yejamana" which a all time hit. After that again he came as "Aaptamitra" which also broke previous all records in collection. Seeing his career path, it is a great loss to the Kannada film industry as he surely still had lots to contribute. As a human being he was know to be humble and down to earth inspite of being a superstar. Never indulged in politics nor did have grudge with any one who tired to cut his career short. Never tried to stir emotions of his fans and always maintained a low profile. Turely an irrepairable loss to Kannada film industry.
