..the movie desrves 3 stars at max...The moie has some great scenes which made us laugh and cry ...appreciatd !!it also tries to preach and sends across a great message ..appreciated !!but as an overall entity the movie is way too scattered ....It loses its pace after interval..Evry other character barring Rancho's is very weakly developed ...The entire story is manipulated and changed to reolve around amir khan ..For Gods sake its an movie about 3 idiots ..not one ...Dil chata hain is a much better example of neat character devlopement and tightly bound script which evolves so naturally...The original book five point someone is a much better experience ..
I really appreciate this reviewer Raja Sen. I always make it a point to read his reviews. Whenever he gives low ratings to a movie, I always watch that film. And when he gives high ratings I skip that movie.
Most of the times the movies he gives low rating to turns out to be classic movies.
