I am really really shocked to read comments from readers. What happened to our beloved Indian audience? I just watched the first 15 minutes of this movie and it was simply disgusting. Folks, please wake up. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read comments like "best movie ever made in India". Friends, I think you have not watched good movies. You have a lot to catch up. I think these comments came from people with almost 0 knowledge about movies made in different parts of the world. Yes, I have seen movies from various countries and I can tell you this. This movie is a total nonsense in these areas: Screenplay, editing, dialog and acting. One can only appreciate Amir's acting if one is not exposed to the real cinema of the world. The average standards of Indian cinema and its image is really pathetic in front of the world audience. And I can understand why. Friends, please learn about cinema and then comment. Thanks.

Buddy, There are 173 comments over here as i write. 172 of them say its awesome movie and only you say its not good. So none of the readers have a movie sense and you are our only hollywood movie Doctorate. Appologies to say but this is the most horrific, disgusting and pathetic movie review i ever read. The critic seems to be watching only international movies and have long forgotten what Indian folks like :). Agreed none of the readers have movie sense, but what about numerous other movie critics ? None of them have given this movie less than 4 stars. So now you will say they also have 0 movie knowledge...You are the only one who seems to be our spielberg. Please do us a favor. Make your own movies (international Std) and watch it at your own. But for god's sake dont write any further reviews. Apologies if i wrote something bad, but i guess no one can control writing after reading such a worst review.

hey dude, i nearly saw all the movies this year both in hollywood and bollywood , I nearly saw 700 movies this year bt i rank this movie just below avatar and it is the best movie in bollywood , people watch movie because they want some entertainment and which they got in the 3 idiots no one bt u want movies that emphasize on mind, i challanged u that u could,nt even think to match me in watching movies and i give the movie rating 4.7 out of 5 so it is worth to watch so beware next ti

Maybe if the directors name was changed to some 'western' name you would appreciate it? Movies are to be enjoyed - not forced on people. There are different approaches to making a movie - and Hirani's style is really enjoyable. We dont need any firang telling us what is good and what is now. Let us decide for ourselves.

The germans don't watch "Dilwale dulhaniya..".. even if they did, they cudn't f'ckin relate to it!!!.. 3 Idiots is an Indian movie that India's home crowd can relate to and enjoy.. to the core!.. So the "world audience" can go screw themselves!... and be pissed off for trying to fit into someone else's underwear! :) hope u see what I mean.. Cheers!

Can U write review for AVATAR. I know U will give 6 stars out of 5 for this CRAP. I watched a movie in 3D its only hype. There is nothing in it to write about but as I said U will give 6/5 for this movie. I loved 3Idiots & all the -ve points U have mentioned R actually ve.
Mindblowing is only word for this movie. No needs of such useless review to watch Amir's Movie. & it must be rated 5 star. Amir is real King of bollywood.
the movie is really a gem of its own kind...apart from the brilliant acting by each one, the movie does contain a superb screenplay, a truly must see movie with lots of learning from it....3 cheers to aamir and the director !!!!!

Well, I would say the movie is good and worth watching once. It doesn't make you feel bored. The start of the movie is little slow. Though the second half has good pace. Towards the end so many things happen and at so fast, it makes the movie very dramatic. However, those who haven't gone through ragging in college would be excited to see some clips on it. But I felt the director has lost small moments of college life which could have brought more flavour. Some more research on engineering-college life would have been great. Not a bad one. But more was expected from Aamir. I would agree with the reviewer and say the movie is average. Its good for making message to society bt drama takes away the taste of real engineering college life. Not a complete justice to 5-Point someone.
A MUST WATCH FOR EVERY YOUNGSTER TO MAKE A BETTER FUTURE TOMMOROW, ESPECIALLY THIS MOVIE IS FOR THOSE WHO JUST LEAVE THEIR HOPES AND DO CRAZY THINGS LIKE SUICIDE, OR WALK AWAY ETC. MOVIE IS FULL OF COMEDY AND LAUGHTER TILL THE END WITH UPS AND DOWN IN LIFE!! Rajkumar HAS DONE A GOOD JOB AFTER 2hitz before WITH A MIX OF DIL CHAHTA HAI!!

also this film can be call Munna bhai series part 3 with aamir's excellence though sanju baba has also rocked the nation!!
