But fairly speaking...the TV audience of today is a far cry from the yester-years when the most loved programs were the mythological serials, serials like nukkad, buniyad, world this week etc.
People watch people calling each others names and plotting against each other with such thrill and I don't know what is the enjoyment (forget enlightenment) that they derive from it.
I see it as no wonder that Big Boss is a copy of Brit show Big Brother, considering the cultural decay that Brits and the UK and undergoing as each year passes by.
We Indian's don't want the good aspects of Brits - like the queue system or general civic sense - but eagerly copy this kind of grabage. Brits did not teach those to Indians when they ruled us...why should they care.
Yes I have the option of not watching those, which I am happily doing!
