Each one differs in his/her own taste and view. In my opinion, Pasanga stands the best for the following reasons: 1.Choice of cast (ie:all new faces & fitting to the core- fresh director Pandy's mastery) 2.Realistic Portrayal (ie:not a 'masala'with unimaginable stunts and glamorous & amorous dances) 3.Cohearance (ie:flow is perfectly maintained.eg: denoting months like may, june, july, etc) 4.Cute Screenplay (ie:capturing and interesting) 5.Music Score of James Vasanth (eg:bg music and situational songs like 'oru vetkam'varudhey, anbale azhagagum veedu, iraiva iriava) 6.Cinematography (deft handling that matches the scenes) 7.Theme (very timely- projection & promotion of child world- message to parents-exemplary teacher) 8.Creative Humour (by the 2 lovers eg: mobile blackmail& appreceiation& the kids eg: Pakkada rebuking Jeeva ) 9.Reaching out the audience (a movie that can communicate both the rural and urban, educated and uneducated, etc.) 10.Title Song (blende of rural richness ie:oral-taught songs for generation together)
And my special credit goes to MR.JEYAPRAGASH in the role of Chockalingam Vathiyar for the fabulous performance he made. He has set an ideal example for teaching profession. Every gesture and every utterance of his in the movie is incomparable. It's terrific! Kudos to him.
