although Mera naam joker didn't worked at Box office but film was connected to comman people....now a days films just talks about money....with cheap tactics included
There is a celebration of Rajni B'day in Andamans -port blair by Fan Club at Ambedkar auditorium.Thats his popularity that every nook and corner he has fans.His movies are entertainers-Time pass.
his whole career was made by doing remakes of amitabh's movies...if u cannot respect hindi industry...i request all southies to at least acknowledge how rajnikant became famous.

bollywood is running becoz of tamil and malayamam movie remakes and south technicians.. so i request all northies to respect all south film industries. rajni acted in more than 150 movies out of which 5 or 6 is amitabh's remake.. so u want to say rajni became superstar just becoz of this 6 remakes ??go watch 6irundu 60 varai,moondru mugam,netrikan,mullum malarum,baasha,annamalai etc.

the People who are sparking Hindi vs Tamil or Language 1 VS Language 2 are utter fool. A language is a mean of expression of thoughts so it should not be a matter of hatred. If someone has to compare something, compare quality etc but not language or region or ethnic values... we all are indians friends and we are ONE. Please broaden your vision and mind. Let us behave like educated and not mere literate.
Its not easy to stay on top all these years- Very few actors have survived on top all these years - HE HAS A GOOD FAN FOLLOWING IN MANY STATES & COUNTRIES WORLD WIDE.Credit to good acting,script,supporting actors,music-All combined.

actor Aravnind sami acted in soo many bollywood films
Director of these films Mani Ratnam still the best director in India

Bombay was not a hit...it was average success and hit only inside Mumbai city...DDLJ is running for 13 yrs in a single theatre in Mumbai....why are u so narrow midned...mallus leave their state kerala and accept short hand and pune jobs in mumbai and delhi...and never return coz they hate living in jobless kerala...and u trying to praise ur land..lol..

u still living in past when movies like lagaan, swades etc have far overtaken the reality shown by roja and dirs. like raju hirani, shimit amin, ashutosh gowariker, madhur bhandarkar etc have far left mani ratnam and ram gopal varma behind.....mind it.
