System shocked, audience shocked
by Stream Enterer on Dec 10, 2009 01:25 PM

Hello Rensil, I must admit what a shocking movie 'Kurbaan' was. Terrorists gun down cops in the US and move about freely as if they are on a picnic. You made a mockery of the FBI. And still you keep living in your dream world, thinking 'Kurbaan' was a film to reckon with.

Wake up, man, and smell the coffee

Maachis/Kurbaan

A blogger here compared maachis to Kurbaan. Maachis dint justify terrorism. It was a story of innocent sikh youths driven to terrorism because of unfortunate incidents (like 84 riots, police excesses in Punjab etc.) . Kurbaan on the other hand tries to justify Jihad.

Dude chill out its a movie. In many movies criminals have been glorified.

Satya, Sarkar etc. are all such examples but did very well. Such topics always do well.

Most action Hollywood movies involve lots of gore and blood.

somehow he is still thinking that he made a masterpiece...it was another cliched film that shows that it has serious intent but can't rise above its bollywood origins...plenty of logical loopholes...
