somehow he is still thinking that he made a masterpiece...it was another cliched film that shows that it has serious intent but can't rise above its bollywood origins...plenty of logical loopholes...
Yes one of the stupid subject movies.by playing with the emotions and sentiments of the minorities they earn their name and money. How many lives would have been or would be effected by this movie, this stupid director and writer should have thought about.
I think Rensil has gone bonkers after his much hyped film 'Kurbaan' flopped badly. There would be hardly very few people who will justify terrorism and appreciate such movies which glamorize terrorism. This movie was not a shock to the society as Rensil claims but a very big shocker to people like Karan Johar and Rensil who are out of sync and out of touch with the reality and no way near the thoughts of billions in this country. When Rensil says man eating dal-chawal will not eat pasta is a lame excuse because this dal-chawal eating man has earlier eaten italian, mexican, thai and all kind of foods but they were well made. the so called pasta that Rensil has served is with improper base and tasteless ingredients. Hence he should not question the taste buds of the audience rather should look at his own ingredients. It is high time that the duo of Karan Johar and Rensil admit that they got it wrong this time. People didn't like this movie because this was a bad movie. What Karan Johar and Rensil would have thought is, just like elections, a section of the population will be sufficient to make this film a winner but what they didn't realise is that a bad movie can not hit jackpot until and unless a large section of the population goes to watch it and appreciate it. A few handful people appreciating will not serve the purpose.
its getting very predictable. minority community story, raise their issue, make sure you stoke their sentiments and make them look miserable and mainstream atrocities against them. its as if the mainstream is out to get them. and most directorial/ wirting debut is the same damn subject - sureshot recipe for an award!
any film which justify terrorism i dont see be it drohkaal, machis, d, D Company, there was nothing in Roja except hype and some good music, I think Roja lost the plot in between though it was better then above, I liked Berder it was just like seeing live war

Border - Seeing live War. Indeed it should be because The movie direction was guided by the retired Army Officers. Really an Awesome work. And a real Story too.
