Aamir Khan became successful after his muscular figure in Rangeela. OSO created history. Then Ghajini created bigger history. You cannot compare the supreme success of these 2 Khans with the mediocre success of Mithun, Dharmendra or Amitabh. M, D, A might have been good actors but SRK and AK are the modern faces of the success of Indian movies abroad. So debate remain opens.

Mr. Lastman Standing gotta be kidding me! Did he really say mediocre success of Amitabh?? Is he dreaming?? Even AB's biggest critics would admit that he is anyday a bigger, better and a much more successful actor then all the Khans put together!

Someone said it all started with Salman from 1998. Agree, but partly, since it all became an obsession from Hrithik's KNPH. Gym's in the country sprouted in all the states. Does the writer of this article wants to gain from SRK by mentioning him as the trendsetter ... huh

You are wrong.. It was Salman who started it all with Veergathi. I remember that particular scene where he holds up the sword flexing his muscles... well I was really impressed. But before that, I was a fan of Stallone & "RAMBO" was the movie which triggered it all in urban india.
Its not that these actors were really muscular at the beginning of their careers. Those 6 packs came out of nowhere, clearly they are using steroids to fuel their workouts. Those excessive bulky muscles can only come after using steroids. Steroids will have long term negative effects on their bodies, bad example to set to the younger generation
