My advice is to come back to India, ask your husband to try for job in Hyderabad, we have plenty of job openings in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai etc., and more over you will get support from your parents here, better you come down to India and work here itself. You did not write whether your husband is taking care of you properly or not? Anyhow I don’t suggest any break-ups and even it is not our culture. But only some of them. I personally think that the people you talk about would have been treated very well when they went South. And yet they behaved badly and wanted to dominate. You should have created a furore in your workplace when you got treated by the manager that way and had his ass kicked. Have you ever seen a North Indian muslim disparage a South Indian muslims?
