kaminey was a slapdash mix of ripping off "blood diamond" and some american tv shows, with the enormous (yes, that's sarcasm) acting talent of shaahid kapoor and priyanka chopra--save yourself the trouble and bring a date to Love Khichdi

i was involved with the pre-production actually, and the original drafts of the script were direct lifts. i could mail you the first 3 drafts if you want to argue the point.
I saw the film today and loved it, as did my girlfriend. There is nothing sleazy about it at all, in fact it's one of the most honest hindi films til date. There are some moments of uncomfortable comedy, but that's because the director / writers have touched on experiences we've all been through. Yes it's more of a metro film than a small-town film. Compared especially to the other films released now, it's the only one worth watching--I give it 3.5 / 5 stars.

Syed Firdaus Ashraf is watching movie because he is living in india and has no hidden ambitions of going the taliban way and blow up people. All religious fundamentalists should be thrown out of india.
I wonder which movie the reviewer saw! This movie is not about sex but about love (can one seriously talk about love without talking about sex?) presented in a honest, witty way. I saw this movie with over 300 people in a theatre and the audience loved it. There were spontaneous claps, particularly from the women. The movie also breaks new ground in mainstream Hindi cinema, both in content and form. To say that this movie is sleazy, as the reviewer does, makes me question his motivation in writing the review – the comment that Hooda is miscast in this film makes me doubt that the reviewer actually saw the film.

It seems that the reviewer him/herself feels ho*ny during the ho*y month. The usage of words seduced/ogle/sleazy are also in bad taste.
