Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya – Cactus Flower(Goldie Hawns first film. Remade as “Dil Ka Doctor” also)

2. Old Bollywood inspired – These are remakes of old Bollywood films. Some of them became bigger hits than the originals. Some of the Hindi originals were also remakes of South Indian movies.

4. Telugu inspired – Most of the superhit films in Telugu are remade in Hindi. David Dhawan also remade some of them.

Coolie No. 1 – Chinna Alludu (*ing Suman, Rambha, Aamani)Correction made by Jai
Judwaa – Hello Brother(*ing Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishnan. Remake of Jackie Chan’s Twin Dragons)
Saajan Chale Sasural – Allari Mogudu(*ing Mohan Babu, Meena, Ramya)Correction made by Jaiganesh
Mr & Mrs Khiladi – Aa Okkati Adakku(*ing Rajendra Prasad)
Banarasi Babu – ……(*ing Jagpati Babu, Ramya. Forgot the name of the movie. But it was remade in Tamil and Kanada also)

5. Bhagyaraj Inspired – Almost all Bhagyaraj’s Tamil films are remade in Hindi. Anil Kapoor played the lead in most of them. I think he must have been the one who introduced David Dhawan to Bhagyaraj. But among these remakes only Raja Babu became a scuccess. Bhagyaraj was given credit for the story in all the films.

Andaz – Sundara Kaandam
Raja Babu – Rasukutty
Gharwali Baharwali – Veetla Visheshanga(Not sure of the name)

6. Tamil Inspired – One more Tamil movie

Govinda's sense of comic timing and his dancing ability sets him apart. But his bulk is an eyesore. He needs to lose at least 15-20 kgs of weight to make him look presentable.

Dear Sir,
Wasn't it Partner when they worked together last time?
Anyway, hope the makers make a genuinely good laugh riot this time. I didnt like Partner, in fact they were much better in the 90s when they made a lot more memorable films: Coolie No.1, Haseena maan jayegi
