But when one mention of SRK is made in the news, people go mad at him....yeah keep eulogising irrelavant and insignificant human beings like amrita rao....its just the bad 2 years of SRK that despite iconic status he dosen't get respect from anybody....time is the best healer.

This is how all directors start their story of how they conceived the script. I guess "two" years is a standard amount of time evey director took to get the script ready.
Lets see whether this director really worked hard on the script... or whether he was seeing somd Hollywood films' DVDs back to back for two years.

Dude..I am a huge Konkona fan..I dont think I have missed any of her movies..but I must admit here that you are doing quite a fabulous job in putting across your argument-liked the way you refuse to accept her as a good actress simply because she is better than the existing breed of semi-wooden actresses-Take a bow..:)

Sorry, with due respect to your cinematic view, I can state that Konkona is a natural and very spontaneous actress (that is also established by cinema PAGE THREE). I think you should watch MR. AND MRS. AYER (Directed by Aparna SEN), before making such comments. Koran Johar took the right decision to cast her.

Dude I think there are two kinds of people those who are realistic and those who think they are realistic. You seem to be the latter... Why do you think they still cast people from india in indian movies.. they could rather have hired a firangi actor actress and made them perform... I am sure then only couple of "slum dog" likers like you would be in the theater... Given the audience given the film Culture,given the kind of directors,oppertunities Konkana is simply brilliant... If you let her act in one of those hollywoods with one of those directors with those sophestications, I am sure she will do a brilliant job there as well.

Dude can Al Pacino act as Sen Page 3? Similarly u can't judge an actor by comparing him/her to some other role some other actor did. They both are gud in their own ways. SO u need to understand that comparison can be done when ppl are in same league.

Sunil - in what capacity are you judging these people? I think Konkona Sen is a wonderful actress in comparison to the new age skin show line of actresses.. I think she did a wonderful job in luck by chance and I definitely saw more than the two stock expressions that you have mentioned..

Naarayan, you have admitted that Konkona is wonderful only when in comparison with her semi-clad peers. Being a wonderful actress cannot be a result of the rest of the lot being extremely bad.

dear sunil whoever u r -i suggest u restrict yurself to judging people like amrita arora & sonali kulkarni...u r honestly out of your depth when u talk about actors like konkona. Besides I am sure Karan johar knows a little more about movies than u do.
