don't we have anythin else to worry about
by jerry duch on Aug 17, 2009 02:08 PM  | Hide replies

we are so used to bending rules that when we actually face them we take it personally, what is this VIP crap, SRK is another human being & that cannot be more important that the security of a country or its citizens, not that SRK is of a doubtful integrity but give Americans some credit of doing their job & doing it well not like in India where just 15 seconds of fame can get heady...

Shilpa Shetty takes up for Shah Rukh Khan!!
by vax pvtltd on Aug 17, 2009 02:06 PM  | Hide replies

I started believing all the utterences of Mrs. Ambika Soni, this Shilpa Shetty and likes on SRK's detention in USA as immetured - to give some benifet of doubt to these people. Otherwise, I would tend to call them irresponsible.
How these pepole can miss a point that he is SRK and may be an icon to a limited people. Even if he is an icon, how can an imegration officer in USA can leave SRK without checking.
Don't we have something to learn from all this. Of course, we are living in a country where some section of people and hence the secular politicians, believe that encountering and killing a terrorist is an act against certain community.
Unless we come out this kind of mindset, there can be no security to all communities. Now, in this country, what we are practicing (may be for some votes) is appeasement, not rule of law!!

He paid the price for being Arrogant
by Tharkki Tansen on Aug 17, 2009 02:03 PM  | Hide replies

SRK is an Arrogant Bstard.
He thinks he can say anything to anyone.
He tried to Humiliate Sunil Gavaskar, A man who helped to Bring the world cup to india.
I am sure he might be been arrogant or was trying to throw attitue towards the immigration officer. And there he paid the price.

Guys 2 hrs was too short for that man.

Mr. Sunil Gavaskar is a very gentleman..

That's why he doesn't respect Kapil Dev or even Ravi Shastri for that matter..

SRK is atleast much better he respects everyone..his remarks came where he was supporting his coach, who wouldn't do that. If you has your own team & hired a coach from outside, someone idiot like gavaskar comments badly on him.. what would you do? Sit & wear bangles? You're just plain jealous & ridiculous..:)

respect is different and bad mouthing is different. Learn it first. If you do not like someone keep shut or move away from him. That is wise. The act of SRK is crude and imature. SRK endorsement of having different captains for every new game is the epitome of his arrogance and ignorance of the game. It is pity and shame that Ganguly agreed to be in his team compromising his quality and name in the game. Why - all for money.

You are one of those ppl who follow the media..aaj tak kind of rubbihly made propaganda news channels..He never said anything personally bad about Sunil; even though he didn't he later felt ppl might have taken it wrongly & rightfully apologised..It's nothing about arrogance;

I fully endorse your view. Not that I am against SRK as I care a foot to the present generation film actors who are bent to make money pledging their morality and dignity. None of their movies have any moral effect on younger generations except practice of gay, adultry and free sex. Mahesh Bhatt is the brain child of such films with his daughter in lead role, who had said that her father is her boy friend.

Ruk Ruk khan a coward !
by PANKAJ SAWANT on Aug 17, 2009 02:01 PM  | Hide replies

Ruk Ruk khan is a coward and doesn't like to obey rules. He thinks that whole world is like india where people obey his orders and respect him. Because of his closeness with gandhi family (rulers of india). Salman khan was right pointing the fact that some or the other person is questioned at airports in america for security reason. That doesn't mean only ruk ruk khan has faced such problem in america. Other top indian personalities like APJ Abdul kalam, mamutty, john abraham, etc also were questioned on US airports but they they didn't make it a big issue. He is crying like a baby just a get a cheap publicity for another boring movie. Grow up ruk ruk khan. What a gimmick to get a cheap publicity.

Very good thought Mr. Asif, but one thing I want to remind you that the case where the non-marathis are droven back from Maharastra involves very poor or common people. But Mr. Ruk ruk khan is not coming in that category.

Hence Miss Setty didn't think her duty to raise voice against the poor fellows.
