The anti-Indian and pro-american response of the BJP people in this forum is really heartwarming.

The reaction by yankees towards Shah rukh detention was disgusting and very racial.
After Fox news and CNN posted the news, yankees started cursing indians. They want " smelly rat worshipers, da da ta ta accent, curry munchers, dark ugly poeple get out of my country...we don't need woogly heads da da ta ta saying monkey worshiping and cow urine drinking rats here"
So shove your hindu fanatism somewhere cuz yankees are taking him as indian and not a muslim.
He was detained even though his passports have over 300 USA visa stamps. The last one just two months ago. Even, indians on airport recognized him and show organizers waiting for him outside.

First of all, most of these 'yanks' who do racial cursings are 'rednecks' (republican right wing self-proclaimed 'Christians')...I wouldn't pay much attention to them seriously.

Even Jesus Christ was dark skinned: unfortunately the stupid rednecks don't realize it.

These same hillbillie trash called the decent educated Obama a n-----. These rednecks are hellbent on bringing down the developed America and go back to a racial-religious fanaticism of pseudo-christianity (note: the real christianity is good: like the Malankara Orthodox Church of Kerala).

Rednecks are similar to our corrupt politicians - they are America's version of Taliban...just ignore their freckled ass and they will go away.

Rednecks don't know that a lot of American technology was made by non-whites (Google, Ebay, Yahoo, Sun Microsystems, Bose, Hotmail, AIM, Sandisk, Kurzweil, just to name a few - all started by Indians, Jews, Muslims, Far-east Asians).

That being said, I now fully realize that SRK is doing a cheap publicity stunt to promote his latest movie on racial profiling.

Every country has good and bad - it just happens that India has more of it in the government preventing the country from progressing.

Lava Kava, yu are an even bigger racist than those Americans whom yu describe as 'freckled ass'. You have gone to such an extent of racial profiling that yu shamelessly described Christ's skin tone as if yu were a contemporary of his.

I am not putting fellow Indians down...
by Lava Kava on Aug 17, 2009 10:11 PM  | Hide replies

It is true some Indians criticize the white people but swoon as soon as they are in the vicinity of one and treat fellow Indians like crap.

Well, for your info, I am not one of them. I like dark/tan skin better than white - that's my preference...I don't want a fair skinned bride, I prefer natural wheatish Indian complexion, brown eyes and black hair.

That being said, let me reiterate, I love AR Rahman...he's so humble; even despite getting far more recognition than the terrorist sympathizer, SRK! A.R. actually has genuine talent and I will buy his music forever. He has a huge charity organization supporting orphans: if all the Bollywood bums followed the great ARR's lead, we would be having so many more heroes.

Brad Pitt is far more famous than SRK: I have met him in person to get an autograph, and he gave it with a smile...he acts like a normal American and tries to avoid publicity.

All these Indian actors (including the regional ones like Mammooty) have an inflated ego...they see themselves above the rest, which is what I loathe!

It is true as someone said, India doesn't have too many heroes or innovators, so we fawn over the few ones we have. India might have invented arithmetic/numbers, etc in the past. But in the present, its incomparable with a technology superpower like USA - Boeing, Lockheed, Apple, Microsoft, Cisco, Texas Instruments, Raytheon, Google, Nasa, Bell Labs...all technology giants.

India should follow fellow Asians - Japan in order to be successful.

Errr more to add to American technology list...

Intel, Paypal, AMD, Goodrich Corporation, Ebay, Bose corporation etc

NOte that Ebay was actually founded by Iranian guy, Paypal cofounded by Bengali, Jawed Karim; Google founded by Jewish guy, Bose founded by half-Indian, Amar Bose...the real strength in diversity...not conflicts all the time like in India...

Indians are so self absorbed with conflict that there is no time for real innovation or improvement - what are all these IIT graduates doing for the road systems/buildings?

Take music technology for eg: Moog Music Inc (inventor of the 1st music synthesizer), Dave Smith instruments (inventor of MIDI for music), Cakewalk, Spectrasonics, Shure (Microphones pioneer), M-Audio, Samson (1st USB microphone), Les Paul (inventor of electric guitar)...

Japan...also great: Korg (Keio Organ), Roland, Yamaha, Tascam...all big name companies whose instruments are used by Bollywood.

What has India ever done for music technology...we still only make sitars and Indian drums...

India has - well - some billionaires like Ambani, and they are all self-servers.

WAKE UP INDIA! THIS IS MY MESSAGE!

I don't think other actors who didn't take the issue w.srk nd their issue seriously ar making a big deal out of this. Mammootty is one of them, he did nt feel discriminated and made a big deal about this. Just 2-3 yrs after 9/11 indian papers reportd tht a kerala actress ws questioned by security officials at airpor, this is b.c sum fellow passenger hd doubts tht actress is pointing out buildings frm the airline. So tht passenger got paranoid nd said something abt tht to officials. Bt it wsn't a big deal, since actress itself said its all misunderstanding nd she didn't think highly of it.

This is the first time i'm hearing this issue becuming national issue in india nd also at n.y. Otherwise, neil mukesh stated he ws questioned b.c he is white to have an indian name, thts ridiculous. Did neil ask aishwarya rai how she got thru w.her being fair skinned nd havin light eyes still having a long indian first name. Honestly i cudn't recognize aishwayra frm the loreal commercials tht air in america, she totally doesn't come of like an indian like other actresses.

To compare Brad Pitt to SRK.

Lets take a look at the various roles that Brad Pitt played
1. An image of a split personality and a commanding character in Fight Club
2. An old man with prosthetic makeup and an amazing characterization in "Curious case of Benjamin Button"
3. A Jewish American Lieutenant in the upcoming Inglorious Basterds..his accent modification is also good
4. A bare knuckle boxing spikey in Snatch.
5. A brave hearted fighter in Troy

and a lot more!!

What did SRK do in the meantime?
1. Cried for love in Dil To Pagal Hai
2. Cried for love in Mohabbatein
3. Cried for love in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
4. Cried for love in Kabie Kushi Kabhi Gham
5. Cried for love in KANK
6. Made love hard in Mem Sahib
7. Cried for love in Devdas
8. Cried for love in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
9. Saved a girl by chasing a car with a cycle rickshaw
10. Cried for love in Chalte Chalte
11. Cried for love in Kal Ho Na Ho
12. Cried for love in Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam
13. Cried for love in Dil Se
14. Cried for love in DDLJ
