This movie is for the ones who like close to heart stuff
by elvin abraham on Oct 17, 2009 01:56 PM

One of those rare Malayalam movies that captures the heart of people, not the externalizations and the poshness.

As a corporate citizen for some time, i could relate the excat feeling of loneliness that Sarath was feeling when his campus friendship turns to a relationship btw just colleagues who happens to share some office space.

And the official reviewer seems to be having something personal when he says shyamaprasad is trying to portray every women working in s/w industry as sex maniacs. Or else, who can make such a vague statement when we know wht the director is trying to portray is the story of 3 old time friends and it just happens that her choices were not right .If he was talking about the gossiping session in the starting scenes of the movie, let me state this clearly i have been there and have seen it. it is just gossiping, not related to sex in any way.

For the cinema goers, please change your attitude of viewing ALL cinemas as lifestyle statements , some of them like Ritu deals with hearts and emotions of people.

If i can point some short coming of the movie, it would few English dialogues which were not clearly audible .Towards the first half end, there was a possibility of feeling disengaged after the emotional over stress.

I have seen the people in Ritu in my life. And it is both a realistic and an artistic one. Rima is gorgeous to watch. Nishan is just amazing with his apt portrayal of sensitive and passionate guy.Keep up the good work team :)

I work for a MNC in bangalore for the last 12 years.

The movie is so close to the heart. have the feel of seeing my own story in the screen.

I wont agree to Palicha's comments on
a. female's shown as sex fiends
b. socialist tirade

I had expectations from shyama prasad and now this movie is a time waste and money waste. he dont know anything about ITindustry. According to him if a person talks mostly in english and if he adds "well, yep.." kinda words with every sentence , then he is a metro IT Guy!!

Shyama prasad must see films like classmates and understand what is actuals and what is virtual.

This movie is 100% disappointment.

Bro, u r absolutely right. The movie is just another 'jaada' stuff from shyamaprasad's stable. The script is senseless, the language and the dialogues are archaic, the music is screechy and all the actors are struggling. We went for the movie with great expectations. But it was a big let down.

Average film

i must say this film was nothing special. the director seems to have no clue of the IT industry and bangalore in general. the whole film has an artificial feel to it. some of the cast seemed to be struggling to act!

i had expectations from a syama prasad movie and i'm satisfied.its a movie worth watching.the characterisation is gud..all the 3 are gud.these sort of things happen in the industry..every one is changing so do keralites..i don think the film perpetuates a myth like every female in IT industry are sex fiends..but there r people like that in the industry..
