It's because of food, culture, festives and celebrations. Bollywood has its origins in punjab. Re: Re: Sardarji Joke........ by mohammad zeeshan on Aug 14, 2009 03:12 PM yeah i agree definitely I think there has been overflow of movies set in PUNJAB.Ofcourse they make for a good viewing but when it gets overboard it becomes gaudy,irritating and superficial.Infact Yashraj depiction of punjab is very stereotyped and is almost d same in his movies.I think bollywood wallahs should capture different elements of INDIA    Forward   |   Report abuse
