How come rediff.com get such stupid comments. One of the great actor, director, producer, and above all a man with courage to live as he liked, and became successful in his business of cinema departed. Instead of paying respect to the departed soul, if not keeping silent, these people stoop so low and pick up a fight here. Must be the genes
All I know about him is that he was a man who displayed his secular character throughout his life. Same certainly cant be said about "A Khan of today's time". My salute to the departed soul. He was a great entertainer.

he was a man with no value leave secular or communal aside...he thought what ever he thinks is the value and that's why he never was accepted as a good actor and then he started his own production which also did not do good.
simply showing egoistics and character with too much pride will not make you a good actor.
I'm not sure what credentials you have to write this column. Your claim to fame seems to be a really bad film (Janasheen) followed by another (Ek Khiladi, etc) which was a blatant copy of 'Confidence' with some stuff thrown in from 'Matchstick Men'. If you can write an obit on Feroz Khan, then so can my DVD player..

Janasheen was a BADDDD Film, true. But what has that got to do anything about what is written about Firoz Khan? the writer's fame is immaterial. What are YOUR credentials?

i like janasheen, it is a rare funny film. unfortunately the director did not indent it to be a comedy-- unfortunate for him that is.

We should show respect for a departed soul. What is written all may not be true, but Firoz Khan was a sentimental man was evident from his films - wheter they were hit or not immaterial.

Yes Nikhil I fully agree with you. One more thing about FK Sahab is about his courage. a few years ago FK Sahab & many others went to Pakistan & there he blasted off Pakis & praised India & Indians a lot. This shows his great admiration & love towards his mother land as well his courage to call a spade a spade & head a head.
