I don't think you have watched this movie and Butterfly Effect both.
B.E. is totally different concept where a person goes in the past and actually can change it and when he is back , his present is completely changed because of his acts in the past. 8*10 has a different concept altogether, Akshay can not change anything he can just see the past and tries to solve a murder mistry. It is an excellent movie and i strongly feel that these reviewers are either not aware about science fiction / super natural genre or they want to demolish Akshay's carrer. Akshay and Nagesh Kukunoor have done a superb job. Go watch it, this is one of the best movie of the year.
Guys chill out!!! Its only a film, not a war for the kingdom of the world. Surreal filmmaking is still light years ahead of Indians where still films like Jodha Akbar (lifted from Meera) make for intelligent cinema. On its own though, 8 x 10 is pretty solid with a very long shelf life. Kuknoor should not give 2 paisas about these reviewers who want to make decisions for him. Way to go Kuknoor. As for Akshay, he is outstanding. In years to come people will be more accepting of this film and judge it appropriately. Its good to be challenged by a film once in a while.

Absolutely, OSO is the best intelligent cinema for weirds and Jodha is the best (un)real depiction which are real crap

that is why both of you came online to read the review and leave your comments. accept it youz r just haters. if you reali didnt like the movie you wouldnt come to read the review at all, you'd just forget abot it. but then yur haters, only SRKs movies inspires you ryt??? hahaha.. your comments dont matter at all cuz even a blind person can smell the hatered in you..
Great going akshay!!. When I saw the first scene i understood that this is another Chandini chowk!! :)
If a person is acting in more movies doesnot mean that he is a great actor and so getting many offers....you should act in that way too...:)
Shahrukh is a great actor, no matter if he do 1 movie per year...the whole world is waiting to watch his movie! That is the style,charisma he has and more importantly the fame,trust everyone has in his movie!!!
Akshay, please do some meaningful movies which suits you. Onething I liked abt you in Tasveer movie is that you stopped doing toilete comedy which doesnt suite you at all......its good that u learned quick lessons after chandini chowk....

srk ka chamcha....i watched the movie n is excellent...ya ther are a few loopholes but nt like srk movie wher the whole movie is loopholed like OSO or RNBDJ....lol any srk movie is a rotlu movie....he can jus act like a penzi or a enuch....AK tries new roles and dose it convincingly....i havent seen any diff in SRKs actin since KKHH...he is the same....

Akshay kumar was there in bollywood even before Shahrukh was there....how many awards did he get???. not even a single filmfare award!!! This tells the story to any person to judge who's the best!!! You are sick n jealous of Shahrukh ...cant help it...God bless u

r u kidding..im not a shahruk hater nor ak fan... wen u comparing as an actor i think ak is far better dan srk...may b his last 2 movies r duds but dat both movies r much better dan srk's lst 3 movies (oso, rbj,billu)... atleast ak doing some good acting wat srk can't. its just my pesonal opinion yar...

Worst movie for someone who has some sense and value is time. Waste of money..time ...energy..talent.. Not even a single good thing about the movie.. avoidable for someone who really know something about wht a story and movie making basics..

Another rubbish review by this oversmart idiot, Raja Sen. It is quite a well-directed thriller that keeps one engaged until the end. Fine natural performance by Akshay Kumar in a role with genuine content and a fine comic role by Javed Jaffrey,and some wonderful scenic locations in Canada and South Africa. A thoroghly entertaining film though admittedly the ending is a bit "filmi" / dramatic and a bit of a let down. Definitely, one of the best Hindi films released thus far in 2009 and recommended watching... should have got at least a 3 stars rating, which it would have from a half-a-decent, unbiased reviewer.

i agree, its another excuse for those critics to give low rating, to an akshay kumar film, CC2C wasn't a great film, but tasveer definatly deserves a better rating, that tarun used screenplay argument as an excuse to rate it low.

In RNBDJ SRK wife doesnt identify his own husband...where else the entire audience reconized the same... r the audience blind???
Earlier I had commented on your review since it didn't make any sense and seemed very indulgent. I watched the movie this morning and now I realize how bad your review really is. The movie is good which could have been better. This movie is a far better attempt by Akshay than his nonsensical comedies he has been doling out in the recent past. So, I would like to write ANOTHER review of this movie in 8x10 lines, but with a twist. There will be 10 lines with 8 words each. Here it goes..........
What's wrong with you Mr. Reviewer Raja Sen, you write film reviews which are completely insane.
You need a crash course in film reviewing, or else for you there is trouble brewing.
I watched the new movie Tasveer 8X10 recently, just because you had trashed it so blatantly.
The movie has very good script and direction, and manages to get the audience's complete attention
'Butterfly Effect' has some similarities with this one and Spanish movie 'Baby's Room', but it's fun.
