Save your money and skip this movie. It was a big failure in US and other countries.
It was released on 25-Jul-08 in US and so far it has collected only 20 million dollars. Compare this with The Dark Knight which was released on 18-Jul-08 and collected 521 million dollars till date!!!
In fact X-files was the biggest failure of the US summer season.
Even for the fans of the series there is nothing that will help them remember those times.
If not for economic reasons, then why else did you expect this movie to be made? Charitable reasons??? Another limp dick of a reviewer from the Rediff stable.
The movie deserves a much better rating and review. A classic example of the sayings DOES A DONKEY KNOW THE SMELL OF CAMPHOR or DOES A MONKEY KNOW THE FLAVOUR OF GINGER. Wisen up Mr.D'Silva. Think you do not know the fan following of the X-Files.

actually, hardik, the movie has been receiving bad press all across, in India and in US too. if a majority of reveiwers feel that the movie is not as good as the previous one, then there must be some truth to it.
x-files as a series has never been interesting to people other than its fans. Having said this the fans of this series are huge. Needless to say that review writer is not one of them and hence such a review.
i liked it , it felt like an overlong episode but it good to see them after a long time , if there is a next movie i hop they continue the mytharc like in 2012 when the aliens are about to make their move
