Ekta Kapoor can make only women point of view serials and on that sereal there is no story, only sex. Now she is making Mahabharata . Means she is doing "Satyanash" the Mahabharata. I hear that there is some scenes that are prohibited.
I think Ekta should change the title from 'Kahaani Hamaray Mahaabhaarat Ki' to 'KAAHE KI MAHABHARATH'.It starts with K and it will also suit the twisted story that she is showing in the name of the epic.
Ekta Kapoor cannot do a BR Chopra - no matter how many 'janams' she takes!
Her idea is to sell Mahabharath as a soap opera - with tears, vily women, conspiracies et al. And look at the actors - you can't even compare them with the excellent actors that worked with BRC. They look like emotionless statues of some old Roman men. And I hear there's plenty of skin show from the female artistes.
I appreciate the overall experimental look of the modern version of the epic. It is interesting to see the people sans their jeweleries and expensive headgear. But the problem with the serial is its treatment. The serial looks like any other run-of-the-mill saas-bahu story with everyone conspiring against the other. Shakuni seems to be the most important character in this version and they could have done with a better actor. Their Shakuni is extremely irritating. Further, the usual ideas of K-serials (people talk more to themselves than others, "flashing scenes") do not seem to work here. In fact they make watching an episode a real pain. On top of it, the characters do not justify their appearance. For example, their Yashodha does not look like a village belle from any angle. Perhaps Ekta Kapoor could do better by better cast selection and not treating this as another installment of her K-series. Else, this K-Mahaaaabhaaaarat is bound to be a disaster.
Mahabharat hoti hai tumhare serials me jo Mahabharat leke aa rahi ho. mahabharat me bhi rona dhona hi dikhaogi sas bahu serials ki tarah.maar kar fir jinda kar dogi.
We are fortunate that we have grown up watching B.R's mahabharat. Casting was perfect, no noisy background music, fantastic narration, all sub-stories were covered well. Sad that current generation will have to watch this version of mahabharat. wondering what was on Ekta's mind while creating this shit? pandavs are looking like Romans and draupadi is looking like Cleopatra total image change of the EPIC... GOD forgive that lady...

It is definitely a treat to watch the show. Whenever i see the show, I felt attached,tears come in my eye, such is the impact . Ekta, you must continue your effort, I am sure it will definitely finds it audience. Just a little suggestion:What you need to improve is to make authentic the fight scenes.Besides this, everything is just perfect.Kudos to ekta's team
