Hey guys seems like South Indian films ve run out of ideas as well... 'Poi Solla Porom', remake of Bollywood hit Khosla Ka Ghosla , has turned out to be a box-office success and production houses are now toying with the idea of rehashing other Bollywood flicks.
According to reports, 'Guru En Aalu' is inspired from ‘Yes Boss’, 'Villu' is based on ‘Soldier’, and 'Agean' is a remake of Main Hoon Na . The Tamil remakes also have big stars. For instance, Vijay plays the lead in ‘Villu’ while Ajith is the frontman of ‘Agean’.
Not just this, last year’s Bollywood hit Jab We Met is being adapted in Tamil by Moser Baer. On the other hand, director P. Vasu has plans to remake Shahrukh Khan ’s Baazigar .
However, some Tamil filmmakers are wary of this trend of adapting Bollywood hits. They think it would be a challenge to adapt non-native stories to the tastes of movie buffs downsouth.
Hahahahahah The best part is that most of those films were copied from Hollywood.
Baazigar ..... A kiss before dying Yes Boss ..... The Appartment Jab We Met ... Misture of French Kiss It all happenned one night
Sad state of mind..... We need more 'A Wednesday'.
Also Just goes on to show how popular SRK is down south..... Love him or Hate him... Southies cant live without him

Except few, most of the current Tamil films are copied. Why can't they give a new Title. Title itself is copied from old movies. Some times old movies are remade. That is nothing but copying. Remaking other langauage films. Recent Kuselan is a good example along with the other films mentioned in this topic. Songs are copied. They'll say remixing. Can't they get new lyrics for songs? They are copying the tunes. What for these film word copy everything from others? When there is no originality why people would prefer watching. Tamils normally don't like copying. Original scripts with good stories are always super hit in Tamil. Recent examples are Paruthiveeran and Subramaniyapuram. When will the Tamil film producers give opportunities to good directors who come with original stories and scripts. When will they give opportunities to good lyricists and music directors. Then they are taking their first step towards a hit film.
