a good work from ranjith after kayyopu.Priyamani has done her role beautifully. But people expect some super natural characters from him...that might be the reason for its bad performance :(
"Thirakkadha" is one of the good movie I have seen in Malayalam. But if Ranjith think that this is a tribute to Srividya, then all things in this story should be correct . But with out any facts, Ranjith has tried to highlight what may happen to an actress through Srividya's banner. Now its natural for an viewer to think that all this happend with Srividya... But even Ranjith might have added few things to keep the story going or for commericial reasons or for his personal interests.... If he has added things(its looks like he added few...) then he should not have used Srividya's name to boost his film...
I saw the movie today. It was a nice movie. A small story which narrated very well. All characters well portrayed. Best Wishes for Ranjith and His Crew.
Renjith's Thirakkatha is a relief breath for Malayalam film. But it could have been more beautiful if budget didn't spoil the show..if it was made in Tamil or Hindi it would have been more pleasing to the eyes...photography not upto the mark. Also don't know why the director aimed at Lal/Mammootty calling "Potta kilavanmaar" and all,who have given much help to renjith in his career...
This Onam, I had two interesting experiences with Malayalam movies. I was never ready for for both. Here they go:
On the first instance, I went to watch the surprise hit 'Veruthey Oru Bharya' - meaning 'The Wife is Useless' - starring Jayaram and Gopika. The movie had already became a rage among the family audiences, thereby giving Jayaram a worst-needed hit after a long time. But since the projector got damaged, I could watch only the first 40 minutes of the movie and I left the movie hall thinking "The movie is useless". Really sorry if I jumped into the conclusion that the movie is not good for movie from what I saw in the first 40 minutes. But my justification is, to tell the story of a bullying husband and the underdog wife, the director and the scenarist had gone to the extremes. The movie starts with a never-ending verbal battle between the pair and it was just going on and on. Other characters seem just entering and leaving the frame without making much of an impact. Now, the movie has become a hit - I guess the female audiences might have loved it and my 'unseen' part might have held the plot together. But, the only point I wanted to make here is, I could not just stand the first half an hour of the movie and it was giving a bad headache.
The second movie was 'Thirakkadha', meaning The Screenplay. I saw the movie on the second day of its release and as I entered the theatre, I looked around to see the movie hall just had about 40 odd people. Now I hear the mo
an outstanding work... not at all an ordinary making...
