Well done Naveen Krishna! Son of one of the most powerful actors of Kannada cinema Srinivasamurthy has lived up to the expectations in his first independent film as hero in 'Dheemaku'. Every area of this film making is planned and prepared well to suit the present crop of films in the commercial format. This is more a screenplay driven cinema and guarantees every paisa paid to the ticket. The flash back technique is very well made use by director Magesh Kumar who is making debut from small screen to big screen. Shanker Billemane rhythmic dialogue is a treat to hear and watch Naveenkrishna mouthing it with ease.
A drop out in engineering Balamuralikrishna (Naveen Krishna) is a cool guy with handsome looks. He is very close to his father and his teacher mother is very strict. Balamuralikrishna encounter the affluent Indira Devi (Asha Saini) mother of Priya (Pavani) and it is a flash back time for the audience. Indira Devi an up to date modern woman has collected every detail of Balamuralakrishna. In the flash back how Balamuralikrishna trapped Priya is explained in a stunning style. What Indira Devi wants is that Balamuralkrishna should not continue his love with Priya. It is because Indira Devi loses all property after the marriage of Priya. The clever Balamuralikrishna sketch is different. This attitude of Balamuralkrishna is recorded by Indira Devi and produced before Priya. On knowing that Balamuralikrishna is after the huge property and not in pure love Priya starts hatin
Naveen is awonderful actor. i saw his acting in the famous movie Nenapiralui. and not so successful "Geeya Geeya Gaagiya Geeya"movie. definitely those who watched these movies never say he is not a good actor. because he has acted so well. i am really dont understand. why directors go for some Actors who dont know Acting!!!!!
when we have good talents like Naveen krishna we have to encourage them by giving good opporunities. lets hope producers will find him in the next movies
Wow! what a performace from a an earnest actor of sandalwood. Hes a pure gem in kannada movie industry, whos true potential is underutilised by the moviemakers. Its sad that we never get to see more of this guy on kannada silver screen. Though the movie is never a path breaking one but its a wholesome entertainer all because of the sheer screen presence and electrifying performance from naveen. He shoulders the whole film and delivers a delectable show with so much of ease and elan. I really wonder how come our filmmakers only gave him a second fiddle when he s a top notch actor. Hes an immaculate actor who enters into the skin of the character and brings it alive, the performance in this film is only a testimonial to his brilliant acting skills. we have never seen more of naveen in lead roles all these days all due to our dim witted moviemakers who have overlooked this actor and casting commercially viable so called heroes. we want actors not heros. The narration of the movie is really good with right mix of humor and sentiments. Its worth the money u pay and u come out of the movie hall with smile. The sincere efforts by the whole team is quite conspicuous. This ones a smart movie when insipid movies are churned out week after week. This movie comes as a respite for all movie buffs who want light hearted entertainment. Hats off to Naveen and team for coming out with a cool movie. Naveen we would love to see you more on the silver screen coz ur a born actor. All the best
Naveen Krishna is by far a better actor compare to many new commers who r trying thier luck in kannda film industry....He has acted in serials besides acting in many plays in Ranga shankara ..
Unlike many newcomes who doesnt have any basic acting skills but will be laucnhed b'se thier father is either a rich director or producer.
we should make more movies based on kannada literature where one can get surplus stories.. i hope directors like nagathihalli chandrashekar make more commercial movies based on literature

In fact Kodlu ramakrishna has started making a movie on the basis of novel by Na. Disouza.without his knowledge. So Na .Dissouza came to know this and warned kodlu with lawyer notice. So this issue has been settled amicably. The writer S.L.Byrappa never give his novels for pictures.

No its not correct.Nayee neralu is S.L.byrappa's novel only.u can accept the great novelists give permission to moronic directors.if directors like kasaravalli, nagathihalli, karnad, wish to make movie based on thier novelis ,they will not reject!
