I guess the title of the remake of Khosla ka Ghosla is not Poi Solla Poram... Its Poi Solla PorOm.. the "o" makes a big difference to the meaning.
Hindi is not the only language in India... THis is not the first time. Giving wrong names to actresses, misspelling tamil film names, givig wrong meanings to words... rediff needs to be responsible before putting text on interational media.

correctly said. Hindi is afterall another regional language which need not be given the importance it has because it is a after all a mediocre language and can never be compared to the richness of the south indian languages.

What is the difference.Anyway the tamil literature is handicapped where you cannot correctly write all words.Like for example, for Priya , you write piriya and for nagarajan you write nakarasan.Any way it does not make difference to you.CYXQ5

Pure senthamizh does not have letters for J, Ha, SHa, Fa.... They have been added later on by other immigrants... And there was no need of these alphabets too... They were added for the convenience of other immigrants.
Recently there are lots of articles coming about Corporates entering into Film Productions and its totally a different flavour to South Indian Film Industry. There were lots of project signed and looking Healthy.When guys like me who are interested in Movie making cannot approach any technical personality in the industry that easy , ll Corporates hear our Stories ??

u bluddy sweet, its quite evident frm ur message that ur not a Kannadiga and may b even hate the language. In that case, dont comment.
Kannadigas dont flock to theaters like u ppl, just bcoz there is Rajni saaru or mahesh babu gaaru.
If u cant survive without commenting then comment on subjects which u know abt, else just SHUT UP.

Kannadiga dont flock in theatres coz, you dont have any watchable actors like Rajani or Mahesh Babu, and Kannada movies look like 15year old Hindi,Tamil or Telugu movie. Can you name one handsome actor or crowdpuller like Rajani in Kannada film industry? That's why half of Blore theatres are running Non- Kannada movies.

Hello Mr. Ravichandra, I think ur mind is still thinking in 1993(15 years old) Pls update ur mind man. Since 2006 kannada film industry witnessing tremendous growth due to the new generation of actors/actresses. Now we have handful of talented actors like Ganesh, Diganth, Prajwal, and Puneeth etc...Now days we don’t really support actors of the old THATHAS. Spending crores of rupees for dance, foreign scenes are not the only theme of movies dear. Now the current Crowd puller is Golden star ganseh (Of course we don’t do Pal-abishekam).All his six movies are hit and his One movie run for 1 year in PVR theater which is a record in India..Ganesh films are getting released simultaneously in USA,AUSTRALIA,NZ,GULF and SINGAPORE. Though bengaluru is a cosmopolitan culture, if u on any FM stations one can hear only kannada songs’ cos of the superb music and of course a big Credit to Sonu Nigam. Really I pity Telugu ppl..Creativity is almost dead and all the junk tamil films are being dubbed in Telugu and u ppl keep watching. That’s y why SPB is stationed E-TV kannada channel for all of his programs. Of sorry state of affairs.

Kannada movies started running well because after Rajkumar's death , KA govt allowed Kannada movie people to freely go to other state for technical support. Your super hit Mungaru Male used a Tamil Photographer and did all its post production work at Chennai i..e like somg recording and digital processing. Even now Your Guru Kiran , Sudeep and stationed at Chennai and Hyderabad for Post production work. E-TV is owned by Telugu people and SPB is running his programs in all South language channels. Only your Ramya is stripping her off to the best to get some chance in Tamil and Telugu movies.

Technical assistance? Regarding the technical assistance yes I don’t deny it. But not all. U know y? Most of the studios including Ramoji film studios in S. India give packge deals for the producers. Even Kuselan was also shot in Ramoji film studio.In technical crew the ppl from all the languages are involved weather Kannada, Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam.

Mr. Ramesh. I have replied to the person , posted by Ravi Chandra with abusive remarks. So another Naxalite started abusing racially oh. When Dr. Raj was alive his contribution to the kannada film Industry is well known. Most of his films were hit during his tenure and some of them dubbed to Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. During the 70s-80s.Few of his films run for 2 years. Recently more and more new faces are coming up and a lot of new experiments about the tunes, and singers are coming up, which are being attracted by the ppl. E-tv belongs to telugu ppl I agree and Ramoji naidu is not stupid to give free telecast rite? He is taking our kannada ppl’s money and that too E-TV is now a pay channel It is a funny fact that most of the programs and episodes in ETV-telugu are the dubbed stuff from kannada serials.Oops. May be that’s one of the reasons Ramoji’s intention is clicked here. Why u have mentioned only Ramya here? She stripped her cloth inTamil movies jus for the chances ?(Here I don’t menton telugu movies b cos in telugu all are dubbed one) She is having plenty of movies in kannada itself.
