Bal Thackeray is the man who insulted father of nation Mahatma Gandhiji. First he started his andolan against Madrasi lungiwala bhagawo, then he came south Indian bhagawo, after that anti Muslims activities, now he came with language and region. These things are important to him to his survival.

he is showing that he has the power in maharastra. But forgetting that every power is going to declined by the time only. lets wait for the time.
Its pathetic that politicians give opinions to serve their own interests and we take those statements as their own personal opinions and start debates here. The message board is actually motivated to discuss something which is nothing but a political issue speaks highly about ur intellect.Take Thakre to the centre and all his statements will be dictated by the new vote bank scenarios.And agin discussions will start here taking his statements as his "personal" Opinions. Get a life u losers.

The Hindi film industry was started a long time ago in Mumbai by mainly North Indian producers, directors & actors. So how come our Marathi manoos are taking credit for it today after it's successs ! One cannot think of the Hindi film industry without the likes of Prithviraj Kapoor & sons, Balraj Sahni, Dev Anand, Pran, Premnath, Amitabh Bachhan, Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra, Shatrughan, Manoj Kumar, Jeetendra, Feroz Khan, Sanjay Khan, etc (all North Indians). Marathis should stop taking credit for Bombay/Mumbai's success because they owe it to the hard work & efforts of all those who came here from all parts of the country. Had it not been for all the outsiders (Indian & foreign) who came to Bombay over the years & centuries, Mumbai may have still been a small fishing village comprising of 7 islands!

SHANTARAM, IN MUSIC: MANGESHKAR FAMILY, SUMAN KALYANPUR C. RAMACHANDRA, VASANTRAO DESHPANDE, VASANTRAO PAWAR, VASANTRAO PRABHU, ACTRESSES LIKE DURGA KHOTE, SHOBHNA SAMARTH, NALINI JAYWANT, SHASHIKALA, LALITA PAWAR, NUTAN, TANUJA, SARIKA, AND MANY OTHERS TILL DATE INCLUDING URMILA AND NATIONWIDE HEARTTHROB MADHURI DIXIT. May be many names from this list may not be known to you are you seem to be too poor in history.
