Cont.....

Atleast language used was good in movies .Now it has become worst in these type of movies.I am not telling that good movies are being released.Yes i agree there are handful of good movies every year. But those take a back seat when these type of gangster movies get released. What director prem was commenting about why he wants to direct these kind of movies is...If Shivanna takes knife in his hand people come and watch the movie.Every Director and Producer in press conference say we have a strong message in the movie. This would be a good joke.I still remember Director prem's interview in E-TV kannada channel,he was making a statement about gangster movies..according to him most of the people like gangster cos they are very bold and every boy wants to see how he holds a sword in hand ,the grip he has and something he was blabbering...If he directs a movie what can be expected from him...Guys come on...Stop all these gangster movies and give some clean entertainers. Family entertainers should be more when compared to these gangster movies...

Correct analysis. Youngsters see these movies and get influenced by them. These movies are to an extent responsible for the spread of rowdyism in Bangalore.

Dr Rajkumar was a jewel in the kannada film world and he would never have approved of his son's in a movie that glorified violence. In his death Kannada film industry have lost the only reason why the world would look at Kannada films with some seriousness.

Stop promoting ur near-dear ones
by vishwanath chandrappa on Sep 03, 2008 02:11 PM

The biggest problem in our film industry is people just promote their near and dear ones even though they have no screen presence or acting talent, real talents are left to struggle, just because this idiot looking guy is S Narayan's son he will get a break, investors will invest money in this movie and the poor public has to suffer to see him. Time and again this happens,Why? when will this end?? People want to see good orginal scripts with talented actors.

All I can see is you don't even know 'hairs' is a non-existent word - 'hair' can never be made plural with an additional 's'. Go brush up on your English - not right. Is this the way to go around writing comments? See your spellings, I have not seen such bad English. See the result. I am commenting.

Why Kannada Movies are becoming Hits now a days!
by chandran on Sep 03, 2008 12:28 PM

Kannada movies are now a days doing a very good business withgood returns in a small budget invesment. The resons vary Viz. "Good Music", "Style of narrating the story, Natural Locations, Scintillating songs and a good lyrics.ofcourse some remakes in kannada also made a very well business and most of the neighbouring producers become rich.
Though most of the films from the neighbouring states of Karnataka are with Big budget, becoming Flops! now a days. I think the ppl are witnessing it.

SHOCKING
by Aries aries on Sep 03, 2008 11:34 AM

Non Kannada movies are much better and people prefer to watch these movies instead of Kannada movies. We must therefore discourage people from watching good films and encourage them to watch Kannada films.

This was the shocking reason given by the stalwarts of the Kannada film Industry when asked as to why they wanted other language films to be banned.

One simple piece of advice to stalwarts of the Kannada Film Industry : START MAKING GOOD FILMS.

Yes it is true , but KANNADA RAKSHANA VEDIKE(KRV) had threatned all the theatre owners to run these films for that many days. KRV only makes headlines when they pelt stones , threaten people and generally indulge in violent acts.Is this the way of protecting Kannada.

Hehehehe u Dumb head pls dont advice us how to protect kannada.BTW why u bring KRV here? Most of the Hits i have given here are running in PVR and multiplxes theaters apart from the rest.Do u have any evidence/ or complaint number by the theater owners if KRV had threatned any theatrs in Bengaluru?

Why then did the Kannada Film Industry want Non Kannada films to be banned? Was is not because they were jealous of the fact that these movies were more sucessfull.BTW KRV is the militant wing of Kannada Film Industry.

Hehehehe i really pity u and can see the frustration in ur eyes.KRV is nothing to do with kannada Film industry.Ofcourse if one's language/culture is not respected,it is the mentality of the ppl to defend it.Military wing? oh we are not carrying AK 47 and Sucide capsules around the neck or forcing the childern as their protective shields.Regarding banning the Non-kannada films for 6 weeks, i have already clarified in my previous post with u.If u need more clarifications sure i will give.Any way to day is "Ganesh chaturthi" so vinayaka bless u and ur family.
