Music is original and simply awesome!!!
by amanjot on Mar 24, 2009 02:22 AM

Sneha Khanwalkar did a wonderful job. I just love the music and if the dhols are too loud for you buddy, then turn down the volume instead of giving it a bad review.

Nice movie

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Neetu Chandra is worth mentioning for her small but impressive role. Unfirtunately this movie did not do that well as expected...

The Childhood is captured creatively...
by AvibaD Badgujar on Jan 14, 2009 01:05 AM

The Childhood of Lucky has captured creatively and its the best part. Acting of child actors are superb, especially the music given on romantic scenes.
The touch to entire movie is very different than other Hindi movies.

Best music of 2008
by ABC ABC on Jan 02, 2009 12:25 AM  | Hide replies

I'm surprised the reviewer thinks the music is a weak point of this film. It's perhaps the most original and wonderful music of the whole year, and probably after a long time. The lyrics of Superchor, Oye Lucky, are brilliant. The music arrangements on these tracks are so detailed with authentic instruments.

Logic of Paresh's triple role
by Ramandeep Judge on Dec 31, 2008 07:05 PM

Very simple. The real players ( baaps) are these people. Lucky is only a pawn...Understood.

I will rate this 3.5 star....Abhay has gr8 talent...
by saugat Dey on Dec 23, 2008 11:20 AM

The way abhay has played the role is really great.
He is the sole actor who is completely running this movie, ofcourse 3 Paresh rawals also done there way , but I also have much more expectation from Paresh Rawal as he is one of my fav actor always. In comparison to his other movies like heraPheri etc. in this movie his roles are not that strong.
But Abhay is really deserve a 4 star.
Director deserves a 3 star.
Story 3 star
So overall 3.5 Star from me.....

For some reason Abhay Deol is in knack of doing some off-beat movies with absolutely true-to-real-life character. At least I make sure that I do watch his movies as they are absolutely fun to watch.
It is quite surprising to find the individual, who has written the review, lack sense for good music and character analysis. He writes it doesn't stand to 'his' reasoning the triple roles that Parish Rawal plays. It's quite easy to comprehend that the writer has portrayed three levels of hypocrisy in the society you are dealing with - It's characterization of hyocracy which has different faces - in this case, lucky's father, god-father and business partner.
Great fun movie I'd say. Deserved Wow for its off beat plot and treatment!

Awesome !!!! Simply awesome....

Total fun and toal time pass movie...
Anyone frm delhi can relate to the scenarios presented in movie...specially when it comes to Delhi show-off factor or streets of Tilak Nagar....:) Very real....

This seems to be a real story as well....Remember Super Chor Bunty of late 90's in delhi...who used to do day light robberies....I think OLLO is motivated from this character.

AWESOME movie, if u can understand it..
by raman singh on Dec 12, 2008 10:55 AM  | Hide replies

The reviewer here says muvie's music is loud, i think he needs lessons on this to correct hi inability to understand quality music.. Jugni songs are so awesome written and fits so much into the charracter. reviewer , get a life dude, or better get a traslator and u will too start singing, haan mein jugni da sajna jugni.. or superchor.. each song is a gem. songs can be relaunched with an album name, forever gold. thou i dont understand more than couple of words our of Tu raja ki raaj dulari.. but i keep humming it more n more..

I agree with raman about the music being sort of brilliant. The songs have been ringing in my head ever since I watched the movie. I personally feel Jugni, SUperchor and raja ki raaj dulari are all offbeat and much better creatively than the typical aaitbaar, inkaar, ikraar sort of S&%t played in most movies.

I am a malayalee, and dont understand a bit of punjabi, but I loved the music still. I feel if music can break the language barrier, its a better measure of success than album sales.
