the writer of this article i dont know who he is, but surely seems like a huge dimwit. and frankly rediff does not deserve to post stories like this.while i holeheartedly agree with the writer that comic books go and kill of heroes with a farcial reularity, doomsday, knightfall, but i would also like him to recollect about hal jordan. and barry allen.. granted they all came back, but hal jordan came back after 12 years. barry allen after 22 years... think about it.. and the idiots who are saying this story dosent derver to be here.. heck rediff dosent deserve to post this article. google rediff and den google batman.. i wld suggest u use rediff search itself and search rediff and den serach batman. that will show u how insignificant rediff is in comparison to one of the truly iconic characters of all times. and comparing balaji soaps o comics.. seriously dude are u drunk or wasted? or high??? i mean seriously dude.. heard about watchmen?? the dark knight returns?? kingdom come??? get a life mate before u dish other peoples hard work and something millions of people love. also to all the losers dishing comics in here, just one thing to sya.. go watch ur bollywood movies with actors and actreses runing round trees.. i guess ur tiny brains will b able to comprehend only dat... and yeah feel free to flame me and abuse me as i have said the truth...

Who took a dump in your doughnut man? Breathe a bit. I can see the steam coming out of your nose. This article is fine and relatively accurate. I don't know who wrote this article but am willing to estimate that he/she has read watchmen, kingdom come and the dark knight returns. As have I, and I'm not even that big of a fan of comics. No one's impresssed by your naming the most common names in comic history, you even left out the Gauntlet series.
Stop admiring your own knowledge before you comment. This was a sensible article for anyone who was looking for info about comics. It's fine and I appreciate it being posted as an interesting article on the entertainment industry. so, duuude, please, get a therapist, kiss a girl, or if you need a hug, here's a nice big warm one from me.

Who cares if you don't care? Certainly not comic fans. This news is meant for comic aficionados. What the hell are you doing here? Shoo! Go away!

looks like hindi serials got their ideas from these comics which did these kind of stunts even in the 90s

It is a marketing stunt to fools all loyal fans of the character. Rediff should not even have cared to show this aarticle, unless they are running out of new topics. Why am I wating my time reading this and writing a comment??

Loved the series so far
by Grim Reaper on Nov 26, 2008 05:19 PM

Having read all 5 of the parts leading upto this finale, i have to say that i have been entertained completely so far. Grant Morrison has weaved an amazing tale, lets hope he can finish it as well.

My question actually is, the RIP storyline has been going on for 7 months now, why is the reporting going in overdrive now, we have known what was coming for the best part of a year.

Tony Daniels artwork is brilliant too. Can't wait to read the final part tomorrow.

this looks like a stunt that tv soaps pull all the time.kill a character to get the eyeballs and then resurrect him to get even more views!!
