Congrates Nandi. Nowadays our country is giving some quality movies by the arrival of new directors. When we will see Satyajit Rays, Guru Dutts, etc?? How long we will see Khans, Bachans, rajinis, etc. They are old and boring.

India's great films are Pather Panchali and Pyasaa directed by Ray and Dutt respectively. Khans and Senior Citizen Rajini films are watched only by the over hyped NRIs.

By that definition, the 100 crore population of India must be NRI's..hyped or otherwise...Cheers...

NRIs wont watch English, japanese, korean movies. They will only watch bafoons Khans movies by eating pop corns, bhajjis, etc. Indian film industry is a worst industry when compared to maldives film industry where only 2 lakhs people are living there.
Whose heard of this festival?? She sure is a sharp one....get an award at some vague arbit festival and then seel it in India as award winning film and we idiots the look on wide eyed at such mediocre films...another example Bas ek pal from that egghead Onir..
I wrote this message and it is reported for abuse! Can anyone tell me what is abusive? Only one person could have found it so...Nandita herself. It is obvious the other comment is from her so first she reports mine as abuse and then goes on to writing a nice flattering one under the name of alakh niranjan ..or whatever!!

Commenting on the movie would not be fair, as I am yet to catch it. But the Festival is not that vague a platform. Founded in 1960 as the Week of Greek Cinema, it became international in 1992, including a Competition Section for feature length films by emerging directors presenting their first or second film. Of course, the movie should be rated after watching it, not by the importance of the awards confered to it.
