"The Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal built the Taj Mahal. It was built in 22 years (1631 to 1653) by 20,000 artisans brought to India from all over the world. Many people believe Ustad Isa of Iran designed it." This is what your guide probably told you if you ever visited the Taj Mahal. This is the same story I read in my history book as a student in India.
No one has ever challenged it except Professor P.N. Oak, who believes the whole world has been duped. In his book Taj Mahal: The True Story, Oak says the Taj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz Mahal's tomb but an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva (then known as Tejo Mahalaya).
In the course of his research, Oak discovered the Shiva temple palace was usurped by Shah Jahan from then Maharaja of Jaipur, Jai Singh. Shah Jahan then remodeled the palace into his wife's memorial. In his own court chronicle, Badshahnama, Shah Jahan admits that an exceptionally beautiful grand mansion in Agra was taken from Jai Singh for Mumtaz's burial.
The ex-Maharaja of Jaipur still retains in his secret collection two orders from Shah Jahan for surrendering the Taj building. Using captured temples and mansions, as a burial place for dead courtiers and royalty was a common practice among Muslim rulers. For example, Humayun, Akbar, Etmud-ud-Daula and Safdarjung are all buried in such mansions. Oak's inquiries begin with the name Taj Mahal. He says this term does not occur in any Moghu

Professor Marvin Miller of New York took a few samples from the riverside doorway of the Taj. Carbon dating tests revealed that the door was 300 years older than Shah Jahan.
Many rooms in the Taj Mahal have remained sealed since Shah Jahan's time, and are still inaccessible to the public. Oak asserts they contain a headless statue of Shiva and other objects commonly used for worship rituals in Hindu temples.

Williams, who is now at Lewis & Clark University, explains, "The piece that Marvin provided for carbon dating did suggest it was older than the 1600's. But this does not prove anything conclusively. Most academics have a patronizing attitude towards radiocarbon dating and scientists in this field. Archaeologists, for instance, will include radiocarbon dating results only if it supports their own theories." Williams readily admits that radiocarbon dating is not an exact science. Depending on the year, variations will occur in the calibration of radio carbons.

Radiocarbon dating's accuracy in the short term is very good as the decay is faster initially.

An expert on Hindu iconography, Dr. Pika Ghosh from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, offers this explanation; "The iconography of the Taj is highly complex and does indeed use a few features also found in temples. But then again those features had all been used in mosques and tombs for Islamic rulers before."
The impressive Taj has carried its beauty through centuries, regardless of the rulers of the land. Its pear shaped dome, whether constructed by Muslims or Hindus, has been designed to manipulate both light and space. The Taj's walls and facades are decorated with jade, yellow amber and lapis lazuli imported from Tibet, Afghanistan, and Egypt.

This is nothing new. I've been hearing this since my childhood that taj mahal is tejo mahal. This is the RSS version of history. RSS hindu extremist cannot digest the fact that such great world famous monument has been built by muslim and they cannot digest the fact that India being country where hindus are majority, a muslim monument is projected as world famous. That's as simple as that.

It is a universal rule, a cardinal rule that one cannot snatch another's property forcibly. Same is the case with Indian Muslims and Christians. Islam is an Arabian religion, whereas Christianity, though of Arab origin, (Catholics) is governed by Italians and Spanish. All the Muslims and Catholics in India and Africa are SUB-ORDINATES to their bosses in Arabia and Italy/Spain respectively.
The Muslims and Catholics of India will eventually return back to Hinduism. This seems a foolish view and a remote possibility though, it is still, THE TRUTH. Arabs and Catholics cannot take away the property of Hindus. The converts of India are ONLY IN THE POSSESSION of Arabs and Italians/Spanish. They CANNOT OWN THESE INDIAN CONVERTS. But during the process of possession, these converts create menace everywhere, this has to be checked.

The thing is those who were converted, nothing can be done now. As such there is nothing in any religion of this world, it cannot heal people's pain. What is there in religion is just past nothing else. With current turmoil in the west all the nations are shaking, things are gonna change, people will forget religion when their stomachs will be empty.
