Akshay Kumar is one man in the film industry who is raking in the moolah like no one before be it films or television. He will pocket a record 31 crore minimum for the Venus produced De Dana Dan which includes his rumeration and a share of the profits from selling the film. The film has a budget of 60 crore mainly due to Akshay's sky high fee.
As for television he was paid 1.50 crore per episode for the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi and the super success of the show helped the newly formed channel establish itself. Now for the second instalment of the show, Akshay will be paid an amazing 2.50 crore per episode.
