Sharon Stone has IQ of over 200 , very rare only a few percent of the worlds population can boast of such a virtue, I totally agree with her remarks, look at what happened to afghanistan after they destroyed the Buddhas at bamiyan, yes we must watch our karmas, be ordinary citizens or Governments and the chinese excel at hypocrisy not only to the outside world but also with their own citizens.
I deeply sympathise with the victims of the quake but cannot ignore the fact that it is the universal law of Karma that causes such events that are beyond the control of human beings and our hypocritical societies.

just because her IQ is over 200 doesn't mean her wisdom is. It's one thing to be smart and another to be wise and knowledgeable, i think.

What goes around comes around is true. That is Karma. Chinese human rights violation in Tibet has come back and hit China hard through earthquake. Feel sad for the innocent lives though. But they should realize that "Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni" and stop human rights voilation in Tibet. Sharon is one smart woman...apart from....:-)

Sharon Stone is right. Some references can be drawn from old testament of Holy Bible. The arrogant Taliban leadership destroyed large statues of Lord Buddha despite several requests of Buddhists to take out the statues of Lord Buddha from Afganistan to Sri Lanka. Taliban leadership has insulted Lord Buddha and Buddhists. Due to curse of Buddhists and Saints and Angels, soon Taliban lost power and they were chased out of Afganistan and they are now homeless and on run for their very lives. Even in India, Gujarat earth quake had occured after the voilence aganist innocent Christians and innocent Muslims (who are not involved in any crimes or criminal activities). some people of openion that Janianwala bagh massacre had resulted in end of British Raj in India. A book was also written a British author. If any govt. indulges in voilence, killing of people, God's grace will on that govt. will go and curse will come upon it. There are some references in Holy Bible. Gujrat earth quake came after voilence aganist innocent innocent Christians and innocent Muslims in Gujrat. Mystic saints like Sai Baba of Shiridi, Kwaja Mounuddin Chisti say and in Bhagavad Gita it is mentioned God exists in the hearts of people if you harm any person, it is equal to harming God and saints, you will surely receive due punishment. Jesus had said if you give even a cup of water, you will not lose your reward. Sharon Stone had rightly interpreted the Karma of a nation (China).

When you made the comments like that,do you know one of the area that earthquake happened--Aba-- is a Tibetan autonomy, where most residents are Tibetans, some of them are Qiang people, and only a small percetage are Han people,So is that earth quake a karma? you are as ignorant and arrogant as Sharon stone. She knew little about the earthquake when she made the comments, and she knew little about Tibet and Tibetan when she said the Tibetans are treated unkindly, and she completely misunderstood the buddhism when she said the words Karma. I am a buddhism, there are all kindness and only kindness in my religion, what she said is unkind and buddha is never revengeful as she comprehended.

what sharon stone said was wrong. she should have directed that at the chinese government. she meant that. but , her comments were insensitive and the people who were affected were the hapless chinese people. poor and working class. such misery is bad for any class, any people, anywhere around the world

"tibetan autonomy"
wtf? sicne when ? where ? han people have been flooded into tibet, and tibet is no longer what it used to be! tibet is filled with mainand chinese. malls and stuff to bulldoze over an old religion.

"I am a buddhism"
yeah, we all know that.

Whats the mistake in what Sharon Stone said?

Whats the mistake in what Sharon Stone said?
What she meant is (all of us believe the same)all the tortures and pain Tibetians go through will defnitely be going as a curse to the nation which causes that (China). There's no point in diverting the topic by saying that she blamed the citizens, what she means is that the bad actions done by China (Govt and/or citizens) is giving them back such huge destruction. That 100% obvious. If the citizens wants to disown their Govt ploicy in Tibetian issues, let them come out openly, rather than blaming Sharon stone. After all what she raised is a genuine concern the whole world is talking about. The question is not whether its Chinese citizen or Govt, the question is whether Tibetians are really suffering because of them (either the citizens or Govt)

Chinese Humanism (Massacre of Tibbetans)
by Naresh kumar on May 31, 2008 11:57 AM

The govt. of china is least qualified to talk of humanism. It ha sno regrets for killing in Tibet and the killing of innocent youth at Tinneman Sqaure. Shron is better than head of the states of America and India who claim to be two largest democracies of the world but have no gut to condemn blatant human rights voilation by china. Hats off to you Sharon. It is is time for all the freedom loving individuals of the world to close ranks and fight for human rights in every part of the globe. Let Indian youth to be on the forefront of such movement. Sharon is better than Indian film personalities who were vying with each other to carry the Olympic torch while china was killing the peace loving monks in Tibet. Bravo Stone!

doesn't stand humanity
by arvind chokhani on May 31, 2008 11:47 AM  | Hide replies

This is an utterly irresponsible comment by Sharon and doesn't stand well with Tibetan philosophy as well. The Tibetan problem is due to Chinese Government and not its citizens. Innocent citizens cannot be held responsible for the government policies. Please show you compassion for the incredible loss of lives. Was Tsunami due to our bad karmas? Can anyone justify it. If they can, then they have probably not been there. Its time to show solidarity. Its time to rise over our Political stand and take our Human stand.

Whats wrong in expressing one's views and calling a spade a spade even by celebs in public?Indeed no sane person with respect for human rights can ever condone occupation and militarisation of Tibet by China and the consequent perpetration of atrocities on the Tibetan's specially the peace loving Budhist Monks and Dalai Lama.
