RE:only 2 songs are gud....kamal has spoiled other songs

yeah.. "Oh oh sanam" from Dashavatharam is a literal copy from his album song.. "ah ah aashique meh teri"... A.R.R wld ve been a better choice..
Music in Kamal's films have always been complimentary to the theme of the film. Hey Ram, Virmandi, Anbe Sivam, Devar Magan, Nayagan, Alavandan etc., all have their music revolving around the subject of the film and not as item numbers just for the heck of it. So hearing the songs from Dasavatharam, independant of the film may not be the be best way. Wait for the visuals to feel the magic of the music.

idiot!! I dont believe u r menon. or a malayalee. It shows that u r rascist or high caste fundamentalist. its there in your words even u r against ilayaraja. If u r really menon from kerala, u dont feel bad about these names.
The songs of Dasavatharam suck (big time). Himesh is really bad. I guess, Devisri prasad would have done a better job on the songs. Wonder why the director didn't pull a better MD than Himesh (like Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan). Whatever is wrong with Kamal, Ravikumar ?

This movie is made in three languages simultaneously - Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. So to gain a national image, Himesh has been used - nothing wrong and music is not as crappy as you have described, i guess it has a good mix of melody and beats
