Time to Ban these movies

Bollywood is forcing Indians to radicalization...it should stop stop...Indians who have problems with even Cheerleaders should not be subjected to such trashy dysfunctional movies..It is ok for Mira Nair to act high & mighty intellectual and make them in Hollywood..but India is not ready for this...dont push the envelop.

meaning you dont have to go and see it if it offends u. same for tv soaps.turn it off. or flip other channel. see doordarshan. others can go see "hum apke hain kaun" or some barjatya/johar movies and feel happy about the pseudo Indian feeling. others, can , better, wake up to darker sides of life on reel.

You talk about "such" movies but I am sure you watch all the indian soaps on television right now, which degrade and insult the image and conduct of an Indian woman. they show extra-martial affairs, children being born out of wedlock, one night stands, women taking vendetta, scheming and so on. If India is ready to watch "those" soaps then they why object when the same scenarios are being carried out in the movies? Isn't that just being a hypocrite? One night stands, Flings, sex before marriage are becoming a very common practice in India. Like me you are not one to judge. "These" things are becoming a part of us now. Accept it and move along with it.

who said indian soaps are good? Indian soaps have been banned in Afghanistan and this should wake up people who mass produce these trash of scheming women who poison their husbands and other women. Indian TV instead of promoting Indian the beauty and richness of Indian culture is exporting trash as well as leading the Indian society itself down the drain. It is high time Indians got together particularly parents of young children, in a civilized manner, analysed what is being shown on TV and movies and defined a code of conduct. The lame excuse of freedom of speech is garbage, its all about making money...and in any case freedom of speech dont seem to work as you cant say anything about jihad.

I agree that it does happen within our country; but make it obvious is the problem & you should accept that shedding one's shyness is the key route to explore western life going against our ethics & values

I didn't say there is anything wrong in that. I was replying to the main comment, which was about that why are guys dropping towels.

Well if a guy is entitled to wanting a girl to drop her towel, I guess now girls want some guys to do something for them. Stop being such an MCP.
