That wig is really bad, would have been fine in the 1980s. To have bangs like that, the hair needs to be straight and spiked at the ends. Fire the hair dresser of the film.
Too bad, for a Gracy movie, they could not even hire a good enough hair do-er. Gracy is a good actress, although she lacks power performance, and is quite awkward acting the woman with a punch. But she was perfectly cast in MBBS 1. Lagaan? Didn't make an impact, although her dance was very good. Wish, there is some director out there that can try at making a dancing Madhuri out of here.

By the way, she is not a Christian. She was named Gracy by her grandmother who had a passion for English names. That's all.
Is she still around doing films after lagaan her film life took an awful to the bad and worse, well here's wishing her a turn around as for the picture it is indeed true that one should not comment unless you know all about it

You write rite, madhavi. But, seriously, you are right. Too early. If people saw Rani's appearance in Black and made the same decision before the movie released, what would have happened?
Certainly she is dressed up according to the film's role. Who are we to comment on that when we haven't yet seen the film? Maybe if the Rediff entertainment bureau had been to Coolie No.1's sets or any of David Dhawan's sets, they would have made the same comment on Govinda too. If male actors can be box-office-turners without being machos, then why can't female stars do the same (eg. Smita Patil never was a stunner).
I know Gracy Singh is nowhere near Smita Patil or Shabhana Azmi, but she might be trying her hand in some comic-scene. Why doesn't rediff understand that? That to play a comic scene one needs to look comic.

I think the kind of reporting you guys do is pathetic and that highlights the sloppy work you do.Please.... people have many other interesting things to know rather than your inane comments and reporting on an actor.Rediff's height of stupidity was very well highlighted when you guys took SRK's bodyguards interview in OSO and made it a headline.I just have a simple request...try to do some good reporting rather than silly reporting which doesn't show you in good light.

I think she looks similar to Mrs. Aishwarya Rai Bacchan. Same kind of gaudy makeup or puffy skin. Atelast Mrs. AB is older than Ms. GS.

If you want to read good, well written and meaningful articles then log on to tehekla.com. Its the same Tehelka guys who ran those sting ops. They are all about real journalism. And rediff, well these guys will even put porn in their website to get traffic.
