Here thesis should be on how Indian music influenced Urdu & Persian. In Pakistan there is NO university that even offers a course in Sanskrit or even Hindi !

Tansen was a Hindu, A Gujarati nagar brahmin to be precise, had to convert because he wanted to marry a converted Muslim girl - as per sharia. Big stories about Akabar's Hindu Muslim unity - can easily be challenged here... Why Tansen had to convert to Islam in order to marry, if Akabar really meant hindu muslim unity?
