RE:Shehanshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan

more like pervert of bollywood. Wan't leave aish alone, looks like Abhi is Mr. 6.
"I think of the 80-plus Dev Anand [Images], who hasn't made a single memorable film in so many years" - This is total trash! Sukanya may be a good writer but lacks in-depth knowledge. Guide is considered a classic. And Hum Dono too! Most of Amitabh's movies were then based on cock and bull stories (notwithstanding most of the movies then and now!). Those moveis were run by his personal charisma!

When the author says "in so many years", it means probably the years after hare rama hare krishna (lets not count swami dada, lootmaar or des pardes). Truth be told, we can't remember any memorable movie dished out by Dev saab subsequent to these movies, except maybe Awwal Number (and that too, I remember it only because of Aamir Khan).
"in so many years" is different from "all his years" or "all his life". Lets be honest and accept that as an evergreen persona, there is no match to Dev saab, but about his last 20 years' movies, the lesser said, the better.!
Recently we had a revelation that AB is infact a Kisan. My request to AB is that he should not retire from doing 'kheti' even of he retires from acting. He can use Amar Singh's connections in getting mre lands for 'kheti's purpose.

Punam, you have got your facts wrong. I just request you to be more circumspect while commenting on people who are way above your judgement. He is the one who did roads, hospitals and schools out of his own money when won elections in UP. It was hard to get money for development works during that period but that did not deter him to spend a fortune. He does a lot of charity without even publicising like other actors and politicians who before any charitable event, make sure that media is there. Leave poor chap alone. And by the way, you do not have idea of what happened in the case which you mentioned. That guy was given freehold land by AB to make money out of it. AB purchased and gave it to the guy so that he can grow crops and earn some money. After years, when AB wanted to give to some one else, that guy straight away went to media and Mayawati. Punam why you people are like that? I dont understand, I thought India has changed, but I guess it will never till we have people like you.

by Riu manoj, I think you are the only person who had got all the facts right and you are the only person who know all the charity things done by Mr. Big B atlast I think you are the only person who was benifited by the charity of Big B. I think that the perspective of Punam Makhi was great and i hope People like him and people like him should ever, never be changed. I am telling this because all of you people had seen the wrong side of the comment. But the right side what you have to observe is this "will put crores in temples but hundreds of chilren without food and clothes will do nothing for them ".

he did free compagn to make "polio free movement" a huge sucess without any cost.....what you did???
Considering the fact that u might be the everhad AB fan from era's but ur way of entertainment might not be obvious for all Idiot box viewres. I found infact we found all AB movies shown 100 times so far and same old dirty fart and nothin gr8 like other programz as u mentioned boring. I think you should not comment on someones comments unless ur asked to and if ur the respective person to answer. I found AB movies as equal as watching evergreen GUNDA,people shout if i compare gunda with AB movies in the other sense... Finally, Dont compare AB to those legends plz...!
I liked the passion which is quite evident in this article. In a very long time, I felt that a member of the 'journalist' fraternity has written something from the heart.
You have touched upon the subject of blogging, ever so gingerly. Yes it is true about AB or for that matter any person being misquoted or quoted out of context,in the media.
Imagine a person, like AB who, by his own admission, is not tech savvy, evidently has little spare time with a punishing schedule, resorts to learning new technology, and blogging despite obvious paucity of time.
Its says something and media better take note of it. Because he has started another version of his angry 'young' man, which is eventually going to balloon and burst in the media's face. It can be quite contagious.
Unfortunately, the economics of the media industry is such that it cannot attract genuine, honest, 'educated', civil talent to the journalist fraternity.
AB contributed RS. 50000 crore to Indian society and still contributing directly and indirectly in the form of: 1. employment he generates directly & indirectly in bollywood 2. employment he generates directly & indirectly in advertising industry 3. Many theater opened in middle times due to him only, giving thrust to construction and entertainment industry 4. the products he endorses are used by millions, the product company earns profit and pays huge taxes to govt., gives employment to thousands, etc.... 5. media is earning crores due to him now-a-days, many editors getting special bonuses for reporting on him, experts being invited in discussions, etc..... 6. the taxes he pays directly to govt., the services he uses in Mumbai, he pays for everything. 7. his father contributed before him, and his son will continue to contribute in similar fashion for years to come 8. politicians paying a lot to defame him( this money going to poster & banner creators, media, etc, etc...) and also unfortunately to attackers on North Indians. this list is endless................

ur telling as if big b is acting in movies and ads free of cost .. he gets 1 cr per day for his show on TV and 1 or 2 crores for acting in ads. ur telling as if millions are using only cadburys's chocolate, binani cement and navrathna oil and not using any other products which SRK or kareena endorses. is he some employement exchange ?? how come he is generating employement ? is it only Big b is paying tax and we are just cheating the govt without paying tax ? hello everybody here pays tax.

He earns whatever amount in aday, coz of his work and genius. Why r u jealous. Does everybody around u pays tax. In fact that could be a breaking news.
He is one of the most selfish person we have seen- what has he ver done other than enmassing wealth for himself and propagating orthodoxy by going and praying various temples for self- his family and BAHOO? Indian public and God has given him so much and rather than giving it back- what is this elderly man doing? Wake up my dear-pay up to the society for what you got rather than paying to the vaults of various temples-else you will be born again and again as the angry man and be angry with yourself!!!!!Anger for what????

Hey Why are you saying AB is selfish person..He is very good actor and entertainer as well. He is entertaing us, it's not a pay back to society. If he would not have been a good actor or entertainer not body is going to see his movies. There are lot of people are having more money than him but know body know them so you are not going to say payback to society. Please don't talk about him like this you don't have knowldege how is Indian Society and what is value of entertainment. If you watch a movie you pay entertainment tax which in turn used to improve the indians.
