You are comparing Dilip Kumars versatility with Amitabh Bacchan. Are you nuts ?? Amitabh has learnt acting from Dilip Saab. Go and see Shakti movie where you can see Amitabh stood nowhere infront of Dilip Kumar interms of acting. I guess you have not seen Dilip kumars movies. See Naya Daur, Ram aur Shyam, Devdas you will come to know what Versatility means.

Dear Prasad, you are very right to say that Dilip Kumar is far more versatile than AB. In Shakti, he clearly dominated AB, which is proved by him getting Filmfare award for best actor for this role. Amitabh has copies a lot of his scenes both in tragic roles and also in comic ones. The mirror scene in Amar Akbar Anthony is copy and paste from Kohinoor, the doll scene from Mukaddar ka sikandar has been lifted from Aadmi. Dilip got best actor award in tragic roles as well as comedy ones, like Devdas, Dagh, Shakti on one hand and Ram aur Shyam on the other hand.

I have seen that movie couple of times and I genuinely feel that Amitabh was better than Dilip Kumar.Altough I am not saying that Dilip Kumar is not a good actor but the versatality AB has, I dont think anyone comes near to him.
its happen often time that i disagree with Raja Sens reviw.But sometime he gives genunine rating which the movie deserves.Now after his Tashan rating i 'll never truely believe his ratings more over his skill or his integrity in providing fair movie review.
My Favourite movie of Bachchan is Rgv ki aag. it is his brillient movies of all times. I love it so much that i have watched 150 times. Rgv is my favourite directors.

My Favourite is NISHABD, A.Bachchan did this movie for Social Coz, he spread the values of family through this movies. What a great massage by this Actor. He has to do apology towards the public for this movie b'coz people treat this man as a rolemodel.

Even after doing these Movies ... Amitabh Bacchan has been chosen the biggest stat of all time, this indeed is a achievement considering that he is 65 and not in his prime......considering the fact RGV ki AAG and Nishbad ....any other actor would have doomed ...but still The Total percenatge of votes togther of Khan Brigade (SRK/AMIR/SALMAN) is less than that of Amitabh Bacchan !!LOL

All said and done the fact is all amithabh fans go and watch amithabh movies because we love to see him in the theaters, as simple as that, more so because he is ageing and i personally dread that day when we cannot see any more of him because he may become too old or his health may not permit him to act, well there are many greats in the hindi film industry like dilip saab ,raj kapooor ,devanand ,and all the new ones including SRK, HRITHICK,and south indians like kamalhasan,but can i also say that amithabh stands taller than all of them put to gether.He is a total package which is a perfect one and no comparisons to any hollywood greats ,can these hollywood hereos dance, sing, fight, walk ,talk ,romance like MR BACHAN and not to speak about this mans grace, style and unquestional professionlism and decency .

10 hit amitabh movies over last ten years 1- bade miyan chote miyan 2- mohabbatein 3- kabhi k kabhi gham 4- aankhen 5- kaante 6- baghban 7- khakee 8- black 9- waqt 10- bunty aur babli 11- sarkar 12- chheni kum and now bhootnath will be a hit and sarkar raj
this is not a critic writing but only a view of raja sen and not something anyone over 10 would find interesting. you would expect something better from such an old and respected site but surprisingly we have this piece which only proves that raja sen can write in english. i am sure his english teacher must be proud.

I Wish/Hope/Pray they do realize that Raja Sen is no film critic. He is just a dumb ass who writes what he feels without knowing much about film making. All the films he has written bad about are actualy worth watching. How can a person who rates Om Shamti Om 4 stars be a film reviewer/critic ????? he has to be either SRK or Farah Khan's lover...
I tried writing to Rediff requesting them to kick Raja out of Rediff. But to no effect... Maybe he does not charge any money for putting his name under the review????
