Mr. Sen if u read this comments please note a stoner movie is where use of marijuana is depicted strongly in actions of its characters example ...CHEECH AND CHONG or even Harold and Kumar go to white castle so none of the movies you mentioned are stoner movies secondly this artice lacks a rythm ...it jumps from one genre to another ...how can a drama movie be stoner movie? yaar kuch to soch ke likha karo use of fancy english words does not make a better aticle...you have completely failed to drive across your point. i have read some of your articles before and have found them half-baked...agar aapko angrezi bhasha aati hain to kripyaa karke uska prayog bhi sahi tarah se kijiye...ye zaruri nahi ki aapke ek article mein poore webster ki dictionary fit kar di jaaye..seedhi saral bhaasha mein bhi aap apni baat samjha sakte hain

I have a question for you guys. Does Raja Sen get paid by rediff or does Raja pay rediff to get his articles published? My guess is the latter. One rule I follow is to avoid the movies Raja endorses (Om Shanti Om, et al) and watch the one's he trashes (Bhool Bhulaiyya, Race, etc). What say guys? But seriously I find his paid reviews quite annoying. Taran Adarsh, Rajeev Masand and Raja Sen all have sold out to the establishment.

But there are some nice attempts recently, at least in Bollywood. Check out Khosla ka ghosla, Bheja Fry, Hera Pheri etc.
Really it is true. Indian cinema are 90% crap. Even those who make it they no before making the cinema that it is a crap. Still they make the audience fool and collect the money.
Intelligent people put their hard work on song/dance etc, no one is concerned about the plot. Because they know - even if it is crap people will come and see it.
Govt. should make a rule that - producer should pay fine if it is below certain quality level. Else, every movie should be screened and passed by certain viewers.

I can't say if raja sen's reviews are as good as he writed them, but I totally liked this article... Loved each and every bit of sarcasm and black humor...
I wonder how did he miss mentioning one of the most funny take on film making itself --- JAANI DUSHMAN - EK ANOKHI PREM KAHAANI, which starred Armaan Kohli and Manisha koirala playing "digital" icchhadhaari naagin!! And almost half the industry playing a supporting cast in this buffoonery!!
