Just the other day I read, that Senator Barack Obama is related to the Vice President, Dick Cheney. Now don't get me wrong here, I have nothing to say on relationships, as I too may have a relative somewhere in the filmworld, though I am not related to the Kapoors of the Bollywood fame.
Correction: Jaddan Bhai was actually Motilal Nehru's daughter, rumoured to be the illegitimate daughter of Motilal Nehru and the famed courtesan, Daleepabai of Allahabad.

This may be a rumor. But Motilal Nehru's mistress was Jadan Bhai. Nargis is rumuored to be love child of Jadan Bhai and Motilal Nehru. (No wonder there is a uncanny resemblance between Nargis and Indira Gandhi). So if that is true MunnaBhai and Rahu Bhai are related right.

Small correction here. The rumours, as they are, say that Jaddan Bai (not Bhai) was a love child of Motilal Nehru and one Daleep Jaan. Nargis, in turn, was the (third) child of Jaddan Bai.
So, if true, then the common link is that Motilal Nehru was the grandfather of both, Nargis and Indira.

Thanks to Wiki - a rumour starts getting to some ground to become a truth! Anyways, you see, Nargis being same level as in Indira Gandhi, Munna is a gen higher than Rahul. So that leads to hypothesis, Munnabhai is uncle (read 'Mamu') of Rahul Gandhi! Kewl!!!

How is it possible??? Motilal nehru was indira gandhi's grandfather and nargis was lot younger to Indira gandhi. there is a huge generation gap between motilal nehru and Jadan bai. Motilal was problaly dead when Jadan bai was born

Meh, Read my post properly. Well Jadanbhai was born on 1892 as per wikipedia. Was Motilal dead by then if Nehru was born on 1889. Mahendra, As mentioned this is a rumor which could be totally baseless.One thing I can assure you I definitely did not read this as history lesson.

Chakde, Gakkad does not mean gutter. Secondly this is rumor. Please read my message and learn to comprehend. How do you know this is not true..was your family a mid-wife service provider to Nehru family.
