I watched the movie many times ...excellent screenplay and photography.. one small hitch is at the hospital when the goondas come to kill one of the guy/approver.. how would some allow such an act so silently ..just doesnt reach my brains.. :)... apart from it i wud say..its amazing..felt bad for Prasanna..dying.. :(
I just watched the movie it's amazing work.. it's been long very long i liked tamil movie's like this ... it's a remarkable work.. expecting a lot in the next film ... don loose the enjoyment in your work director.. wish you all the best :)
1. There is a scene where the killers come one by one and get beaten by the hero. 2. the handicap person always waves his hand - is this not a cheap gimmick from the director ? 3. Prasanna shows only his hair all the time. A good actor should act like a villian even without makeups. And now-a-days almost all tamil film villians are depicted with long hairs.

What is that you understood in Anjathey?
Prasanna has performanced close to "The Jackel" bruce willis. Such a silence but terrorises. And that is too a performance which is quite hard.
Anjathe is easily the best Tamil film released so far in 2008. Though lengthy, the movie is engaging and quite thrilling. The climax was an intense and nailbiting experience.
Prasanna has given a mind blowing performance as a cold blooded extortionist. Though he comes throughout the second half of the movie, the importance is given to his expressions than dialogues. What a villian!!! The way he yearns for sex is shown is a superb way. Kudos to the director Mysskin and the actor Prasanna. Naren as the protagonist is the perfect choice. He looks good and emotes well. I wish both Naren and Prassanna, all the very best of luck in their future endaevours.
After having watched this movie after reading great reviews about it, I was totally disappointed. It was a very bad movie experience. A very amateurish attempt by Mysskin - Poor (almost no) story, bad camera work, funny looking and not well defined characters. I could not sit through the whole movie.

It was not an amateurish attempt, but a natural one. Maybe you didn't understand. Characters were apt too. Anjathe is not the movie for hero-worshippers or masala-movie lovers. This movie is not for people who expect four fights and 5 songs with semi-nude femles in it.
