The redeeming feature of the film is Viji's dialogues,which lingers long after we leave the theatre. It is poetic in some palces and down-to-earth in some other.Once again, he has done a great job as in 'Azhagiya Theeyey' and 'Mozhi' Prithivi Raj is the actor to watch out for! Prakash Raj is a natural actor; only his not essaying his role is a news! The movie is not vulgar unlike most Tamil films. A decent entertainerthat one can watch with family sans any embarrassment!! Good work and very promising!
His movie "MOZHI" & "VELLITHIRAI" has brought Dravidian cultured family together to the theatre. Mere words may not be sufficient to praise his dedication to this cause.

I had taken my thrice to the movie "MOZHI" and I would repeat it on " VELLITHIRAI" once my childrens exams are over.
Hello stop talkin about Remaking..Its gud to c the positive side of tamil movies also...V got many gud movies int he recent past like Paruthiveeran,Mozhi,Chn-28,anjadhe,polladhavan..and many more..Im vry pride to say that Tamil indurstry has got directors like Selvaragavan,Gautham,Bala,Amir etc..So plz stop sayin tat tamil movies lags in creativity etc..V gave some remarkable movies to the people..

I think more movies are made out of tamil originals in other languages than tamils movies out of other languages. SO GO SCREW YOURSELVES.

Who said more originals are in tamil!!! U must be crazy to comment like this..most of the Tamil movies are either remakes or plagarised..all Satyaraj movies are remakes/plagarised versions of Malyalam movies. Vijay has no originality always copies from telugu movies..Rajnikanth....God knows when did he do a original movie...even Shivaji was a copy of Shankars all other movies...there is another joker,,jeyam ravi who's movies are all copies of Telugu movies, plus U have those horrible dubbed films of English and Hindi (give a break...Just watch Hritik and Abhishek speak tamil in those dubbed movies and Tamilian seeing them..and criticising other languages of originality...) really I am asheamed to be a Tamil
i think prakash raj is a superb actor. he is in class of his own. AB SRK r simply zero in front of him. Boolywood has lot to learn fm a actor like. such a genuine actor. he was only born to act.He can do any sort of role with such ease which makes him one of the best sort out of actors in Tamil,Telegu, mala movie. what i like abt him is that he has not approached bollywood aftr making 2 to 3 movies. Boolywood doesnt ahve the story line for such wonderful actor.
Prakash Raj is a good choice. But Prithivi Raj and Gopika was not good selections. Prithiviraj can't handle a character done brilliantly by Mohanlal (in the Malayalam version). Same in the case of Gopika. She will not be as good as Meena.
